This boot is said to fit my outer cv joint on my 2016 subaru legacy. Even while using and expanding tool, the boot would not expand far enough to go over the joint. Boot ended up splitting before getting 3/4's of the way there. Luckily I had an extra universal fit boot to get me by. Material is way too hard. Not elastic enough to expand over joint.

This product did not fit as described. Data shot shows separate part number for inner and outer boot. I ordered the two different IDs. The outer joint diameter is 10mm larger than the inner. When I went to install, the boots were the same size! So the outer boot would not fit over the cv joint. One can force this but it would overly stress the boot leading to immediate failure. Poor quality control. I ordered 2 boxes of the outer boot, 103-2941, both are too small. The inner boot 103-2824 fit. But now I just wish I went with another supplier/vendor.
