This prduct was shipped very fast and fit my truck perfectly. Install was a breeze. The only tricky part was removing the old ignition lock. The bolts are round and will not unscrew. A Youtube video recommended chiseling through the old one to removed it but that did not work well for me. I ended up using an oscillating tool with metal cutting blade to cut through the old bolts. That worked well and was faster. Other options might be to drill out the old bolts or to drill into them and use an easy out. I don't know how tight the bolts are screwed in but I'm guessing pretty tight.

Fit my 2000 stick shift Frontier perfectly. Took half an hour to install, most of which was drilling out the security bolts on the old part. Easy even for the mechanically incompetent.

Saludos, esta cerradura de encendido funciona excelente, es facil de instalar y cumple con el proposito, recoerdar hay dos modelos, este en especifico es para transmision manual o mecanica. Si tu vehiculo es automatico , favor leer bien, pues te correspode elegir el otro.

I purchased this for my 1999 Nissan Frontier with automatic transmission. In “My Garage†on Amazon, I have it listed as having an automatic transmission, so when this seller states that this part meets the criteria and will fit, of course I believe it. Never having changed one out, I didn’t know there was a difference, so I destroyed my old one removing it, and discovered that the new one wouldn’t work. Now I will be stuck buying a new one if I want all of my safety features on the truck to work, or I will have to bypass the switch that will not allow the truck to be put into gear unless the ignition is turned on. If you’re going to sell a product, make sure it checks all of the boxes that you say it does.

Once I drilled out the old one, this one went on super easy. No problems with it at all, comes with 2 keys.
