I needed to control a water mist assembly on my Window AC. Not enough humidity at times. I have 3 misters and this valve cooling the external coils of the window unit so the compressor does not kick off on overheat during the 95+ days like last year. Unfortunately the unit is in direct sunlight and there is nothing I can do about it. The window unit has not shut down on overheat since I installed the mistying system and now I am cycling the water insead of running it all the time. I am runniong a repeat timer cycle of 10 seconds on and 10 minites off. Workign like a charm and I am staying cool!!!

I just replaced this item that I installed in July22. I got about 18 months of 24/7 use (ie energized state) in a SALTWATER/Marine system until it started leaking from valve body. It does still work though! The price has a not changed since my original purchase date. The more “name brand†valves (they are near identical btw) are over 3 times the cost. Great product.

was easy to install. I converted a bottom bottle water cooler to water line with this and seems to works as expected. we will see how long it lasts.

This is a solenoid. Solenoids require a higher current to activate, then a much lower current to remain open, called Hold Current.If you apply 12 Volts to the valve and just let it sit there, it's going to get Hot.The hotter it gets the more its reliability goes into the toilet. This is true for all solenoids, unless the time that it is active is very short, which for a water valve is typically not the case.I recommend the DRV120 driver IC from Texas Instruments. I do not recommend driving this valve directly from a GPIO pin.

Lo utilicé para alimentar un filtro de ósmosis inversa debajo del fregador. Estos filtros desperdician mucha agua si están encendidos y programe esta bomba junto con el encendido del purificador mediante un sono off con intervalo de tiempo. Funciona 3 veces al dÃa con duración de 20 minutos y no tira agua y como es de 110 volts fue sencillo utilizar el mismo controlador para controlar la bomba y encender el purificador.
