These ball valves are made of SS316 stainless steel.
Ball valves use a spherical disc to control the flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses. Flow is allowed when the hole that pierces the ball-shaped disc is in line with the inlet and outlet of the valve and is blocked when the ball is horizontally swiveled 90 degrees, so that the hole of the ball is perpendicular to the opening of the valve.

These were high quality, but didn’t work in applying an extra shut off to the toilet/bidet.I ordered the correct size, but learned NPT is different than ballcock, even with correct size or close dimension. Neither worked.

I'm using these valves to build tire inflation kits for off-roading and rock crawling. I haven't had any issues with threads or leaks in the valve and am very happy with the performance. I use PTFE tape on the threads for installation.

They work, they are sturdy, they didn’t crack, they are nice and shiny and look good.One note, you will need to tighten the internal adapter with an Allen wrench.

I have a sealed fill coolant container above the heater hoses, and this at the end of the line to purge air into coolant tank overflow. Seals nice and tight, and I can burp air from system. Saves me from replacing head gaskets on a 170k motor in a rendezvous..that would be a nightmare

It works as intended. The valve handle is a bit tight and I can never seem to get the valve in the correct position once tightened down. It is always sitting too far left or right. Still good value for the price.

I bought this item to control the strength of the water flow in my showerhead. My showerhead's flow restrictor was extremely restrictive, and its resultant weak stream made it pretty difficult (and take much more time) to rinse shampoo out of my hair, so I removed the restrictor. This resulted in a comically strong flow, and I hoped this valve would allow me to adjust the flow to my liking. It does this perfectly.Additionally, the construction is rock-solid, the handle has very smooth action, and making adjustments is very easy.
