It came with the mechanism and toilet seal, which both fit great. The operation was a good as the original. I have not tested the claim that it has better design under freezing conditions than that of the Thetford design but will report if I have a leak. The only confusing part of the job was how to remove the original steel part of the lever design but it took a minute or two to diagnose and move it around the various direction and it came out The only negative is on the original Thetford design, as you need to remove the toilet to do the job, but it is not complex and not bad if you drain and clean your holding tank, use paper towels and gloves. You just need remove the two screws on the side of the toilet with a 13 MM speed wrench/deep socket or even pliers will do and the toilet comes off it base. It was really less than an hour job.

Thought my toilet valve was leaking, so I bought this to fix it. Found out the water hose to the toilet was not tight enough and was leaking, not the valve. This valve did not come with any kind of clamp to keep it tight. Hose stretched out, I don't know. Put a zip tie on it, fixed. Now I have an extra valve in case of failure. Probably still be in the draw ten years from now, oh well.

Purchased 2 other brands because of the price and had to return them because they leaked out of the air valve when flushing, just like the original that I was replacing. This one was priced just as well but could tell that the valve was well seated right out of the box. Slapped it in and it works great.

Just installed to replace my original which started leaking after 8 yrs. Was a very easy installation, installation sheet and instructions were very clear. Perfect fit and the quality appears to be same as the original. Will see what long term reliability looks like.The price was certainly right. So far so good!

the one from the RV i bought turned out to be cracked at the inlet fitting probably because previous owner didnt winterize properly. This one fit perfectly and zero leaks, flushes as it should
