You know the story: the rubber seal on your RV toilet leaks, and the water in the bowl disappears in 1 hour or 1 day. I've seen youtube videos that show how to fix such a leak, by replacing the seal. To me that seems ridiculous, because the seal is probably ok, but it's only caked in cr@p and needs to be cleaned off. I took that approach, properly cleaning the seal, and it held for years -- until it didn't. Eventually, it would not hold water, even after proper cleaning.Luckily, replacing the seal is super-easy, and requires no tools, no disassembly. Just turn off the water, open the trap, reach down and pull the seal off (extra careful not to drop it in the tank) and put the new one in. I found that the old rubber seal had limescale on it, and it was slightly deteriorated. Looking at it, I agree that it needed to be replaced, and simply cleaning it would not stop the leak. It was after 3 seasons of camping. This particular seal is an aftermarket seal, but it fit perfectly, and has now held water for more than 2 weeks. I recommend it. I also recommend first removing and cleaning the seal, before deciding it needs to be replaced.

This seal installed so easily. Snapped right into place with some silicone grease. My old one had crusted mineral deposits on it and was stuck. Had to get the pliers on it to grip it (old lady fingers) and I was worried about dropping it into the tank. Got it out, cleaned the seal area and this seal popped right in. It's holding water now! Great product at a great price! Will purchase again when needed!

The toilet seal on the motorhome that I purchased used appeared to be leaking and disintegrating. After watching some YouTube videos on how to replace it, I debated purchasing this part or an OEM seal that cost twice as much. I ended up purchasing this one.The installation was easy although pretty gross. When I removed the old seal (don't drop it into the tank!), there was a lot of crud that had built up around it (yuck!) I cleaned the toilet as thoroughly as I could (wear gloves!), spread a little cooking oil on the bottom (do NOT use petroleum jelly as some have suggested) and it snapped into place fairly easily (don't drop it!) We have now been using it full-time for over a month with no issues.I would purchase this part again and save the cost of the OEM Dometic seal.

This worked for my Dometic. It fit perfectly and did the Job. FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE SAYING IT DIDN'T!!Either they don't know the Model of their toilet ( Look at your toilet and do a google image search "Dometic toilet 310" or 320")AND / ORYour ball valve is knocked out of place and you need to pull it back into place. Turn off your water --> Open the ball valve --> Use a long tool with a hook on the end I.E. Crowbar etc.. (or your hand if your arm is small enough, mine is not) ---> Hook the hinge arm --> pull up Carefully BUT with some force. You MAY hear or feel a click when the Ball valve gets back into place. If this did not work you will have to take the toilet off and out side turn it over and you will see the connection point clearly. It is very light compared to a normal toilet.GOOD luck!!

Easy to install. R&R took about 10 minutes. Watched you tube on how to r&r and was right on. Also ordered a tube of silicone grease as you should not use petroleum based grease on seal, it would be detrimental. Flushed toilet a couple of times, then put water in bowl and let sit for a couple of days. No leaks! Also half the price of the "official" branded seal.

Was easy to install and fit perfect. The rubber is high quality and smooth. - Don’t forget to fill the edge of the seal and coat the bottom of the seal with silicone grease.

Bought in September and it has now failed… now buying a original Dometic seal as I’m sick of wasting good money on cheaper seals.

This seal is an exact rubber seal match for the 310. Tried and returned others that were silicone crap which when side by side with original seal were thinner than original. This one was a perfect fit and doesn’t leak.Liked it so much I ordered a spare one

Good replacement for the original that would not completely seal. Easy to install but recommend a light coating of plumbing grease. Sealed completely after pressing the rubber against the ball/flap to conform to shape.
