The ULTRA-DI DI600P is a passive DI (Direct Injection) box for connecting a guitar, bass or keyboard directly to your mixer. With the DI600P as your go-between, impedance-matching problems become a thing of the past, and long cable runs will not sacrifice all of your precious tone.
Directly to the Point
With its parallel 1/4" IN and OUT jacks, the DI600P allows you to plug in your instrument and send the same signal to your onstage amplifier, while the XLR OUTPUT sends a balanced signal to your mixer. A ground lift switch eliminates hum associated with ground loops and our high-performance transformer provides the ultimate in signal integrity.
Special Feature
Just flip the INST/AMP switch and the DI600P can easily accommodate either the low-level signal of a high-impedance mic or guitar (INST mode), or the speaker output of a guitar amplifier (AMP mode). Even if your amp cranks out as much as 3,000 Watts, you get a perfect signal every time!

I really don’t have any complaints with this DI box. In a “you get what you pay for†world that we live in, Behringer stands out from most other budget friendly companies. It’s a great item for what it is, definitely on par with more expensive brands.

I've used Behringer products in the past, some good, some bad. The bad ones usually had the same issue - too much noise. This DI box falls squarely into the "good" category. Easy to use, feels well-constructed, no noise; just sends my signal to the board as intended. I'm glad I gave this a shot instead of spending 5x as much for a BOSS DI box.

I love Behringer. I use Behringer mixer (Eurorack MX602A), powered mixers (PMP518M), Behringer USB Audio Interface UMC202HD, and now the DI-Ultra DI600P. Behringer as for price to performance really can't be beat. But now I must admit that their Quality Assurance is lacking. Not sure if it the Germany office or the Chinese Manufacturing Plant that is the offender. Maybe both. If you look at the image of the whole unit, you can see it is well designed and laid out. The transformer looks to be shielded which is very important. But the other two images show a different story. Cold solder joints, sloppy soldering, and what appears to be solder that was too hot. This product should have never left the factory in this state. What we have is a recipe for product failure or issues later on. For me, I can fix this because I can remove the old solder and solder new contacts correctly. However, there are users that do not have soldering skills. Behringer, please take note and sample the products coming out of the manufacturing plant for good build practices. FYI, I will continue to purchase and use Behringer products.

They both work like a charm BUT they are lacking the rubber feet to keep them from scratching unnecessarily on the floor! I had to order these from Amazon as well.

for the cost it's a decent DI . I use it for an electronic drum pedal in my acoustic act and it works fine for that.

I do not have much to compare to, since this is my first DI box, but it had a positive impact on the soundquality of my homestudio. I'm using a Motu 896 HD which does not have any built in DI box, and the difference was clearly audible when I plugged this one in... So far I have only used it together with a passive electric guitar with good results.There are most likely better ones out there, for a most likely higher price, but at this pricepoint I'm really happy with what I got. Recommended!

Als Hobby-Musiker, der langsam immer mehr in Sachen Aufnehmen machen möchte, war diese Anschaffung absolutes Gold. Die DI-Box ist einfach zu handhaben (am einen Ende die Gitarre rein, am anderen Ende ein XLR-Kabel ins Audio-Interface) und erfüllt vollkommen ihren Zweck.Das Gitarrensignal wird adäquat umgewandelt und kommt in sehr guter Qualität in der DAW (bei mir Ableton Live) an, um es dann entsprechend weiterverarbeiten zu können.Die Box selbst fühlt sich wertig und keineswegs billig an. Die Verarbeitung ist meiner Meinung nach sehr gut. Das hätte ich für einen so günstigen Preis nicht erwartet.Es mag sicherlich Qualitätsunterschiede zu DI-Boxen geben, die sicher schnell mal das Zehnfache kosten, aber für den Hobbymusiker ist diese Box auf jeden Fall ausreichend.

Utilisé pour envoyer le son de ma basse sur une carte son Roland Quad Capture et un ampli Positive Grid Spark 40 pour ne plus avoir de ronflette à cause d'une boucle de masse. Fait très bien le job à condition de prendre le temps de lire la courte mais efficace notice fournie avec.
