I purchased this recently in order to help my watercolor students set up their own still-life scenes, for our Still-Life class. (And I will also benefit from this set up!) It's so easy to assemble, I didn't need any instructions, and it seems to be very sturdy. The large clips hold a backdrop in place nicely, with a firm grip, allowing you to pull the backdrop taught, to avoid wrinkles. I loved that it came with a few handy travel-bags for storing everything. Loved the price too -- and I can't recommend this highly enough, especially if you are an artist who enjoys photographing your own still-life scenes, portraits, etc. to use as photo references for your work. You just need to add a backdrop and some lights, and you're all set! (These two photos are of the entire set-up, with a backdrop and light-stand I purchased elsewhere. The floral still-life was one that a student brought in and I thought it was particularly lovely! Very grateful this was available on Amazon!)

Got it to use for my kids birthday. It stood sturdy and I parked as great backdrop. It stood steady with kids playing around. It’s also good to work around indoors as it’s has good height adjustments

I had old stand with thin pipes. So I ordered this one with thicker pipes and these are durable and size is as mentioned. Provided clips are able to keep 7X8 at place. I didn’t used extra weight but therw are bags as well.

Great for the backdrop needed. The setup was easy. The photographer loved it. Very stable and for the price it came with a pouch for storage for portability. Very stable. This was worth it .
