This sander is the perfect size for my ship model building. It’s plenty big to handle anything I need but small enough to put under the workbench. The motor seems plenty powerful. The belt and disk are easy to change. It came with pretty course belt and disk. I will probably get something a little finer but they are easy to get and pretty inexpensive. It would have been nice if the tool came with a couple of extra or various grits but I can’t really complain with the low price. I expect to get years of good service from it.

Delivered in great shape, good packing. The unit assembles easily and quickly. Most parts are good grade of metal, only the belt guard is plastic. Tracks will and runs smoothly. Everything fits well. I am very pleased with the value and ease of use. Great for bench use in my home workshop.

I am a semi-professional woodworker and found myself in need of a sander to get into a small space. this unit fit the bill. And it does the job adequately. My only reservation is that the truing knob for the belt sander will not actually move the belt to the center of the roller. I have taken it apart in hopes that it was just a manufacturers setting but there is no correcting it without redrilling holes or shortening springs. That said, the belt is only 3/16ths of an inch off when it is fully adjusted to the right from being centered which is good enough but it does reduce my ability to use the right edge of the belt for sanding small parts. Other than that, it is great.

I put off buying this belt sander because I thought I wanted a larger one. The old sears model that I sold when I downsized to smaller house was my go-to wood and metal working bench sander.For the price of the sander I wanted to give it a try. Well, I'm impressed with this benchtop sander. It's doing everything from picture frames, to baseboard and bird house building and more.Sweet disk and belt sander.Don't forget to buy different grits of belts and disks that fit this sander. You'll enjoy using it for more things because it's right there in front of you on the bench.

I bought this to do a customized knife handle. Worked well sanding down the fiberglass epoxy handle. Wear a mask and remember: you can always take more off but you can't add more back!

I own a sharpening business and wanted this primarily for buffing and stropping purposes but the alignment of the unit somehow was creating major black lines on my nice new leather belt as something was rubbing unit the shielding i could not resolve. Nice little unit that I would have kept if not for that issue as I didn;t want to prematurely wear out belts from the rubbing.

Most of my woodworking is for crafts, and this is a perfect bench size sander for smaller crafts. It's a replacement for my many years old sander of the same size and design that I could no longer find this design in local stores. I do recommend this sander.

This is a nice little sander for the DIYer’ garage. The belt and disk will cover most needs, and the machine is not very large or heavy, so it won’t take up too much space and is easy to store for occasional use.This is not a ‘professional’ unit for daily use; that said, if you are looking for a small unit for the occasional woodworking or sharpening work this will fit the bill perfectly, and at $100 it will not break the bank.Overall I am pretty happy with the purchase and would probably get again.
