We thought we'd try one of these filters along with a bigger filter we have for our camper which is set up in a campground. The water at the camper is well water with a lot of iron. The big filter did an okay job, but by adding this filter, it really has seemed to make a big difference in the water quality. There no longer is a slight orange tint to the water. We also use a Brita filter for the water for coffee and I noticed that that is clearer now also. We've only been using this filter about a month, but I'm pleased with the results.

I recently purchased the BELVITA RV Inline Water Filter with Solid Brass 90 Degree Hose Elbow and while it did filter out impurities, I was disappointed to find that it severely reduced the water flow.While the BELVITA RV Inline Water Filter with Solid Brass 90 Degree Hose Elbow did filter out impurities, the severe reduction in water flow was a major drawback. If you are in need of an RV water filter, I would recommend looking for a product that balances filtration effectiveness with maintaining good water flow.
