It’s easy to put on, it’s nice and heavy and will hold some weight. They should include some of those little rubber things to go underneath the part on top so that it doesn’t slide around. I can’t put enough torque on it to get it good and tight and those would help.

So far so good. It was a little more difficult to install than a standard seat because the distance front to back is adjustable. But once it's in place it seems to do the job....

The fit is adjustable so make sure the seat is aligned during finger tightening and wrench tightening. Started with an adjustable wrench but couldn't tighten it enough to snap off the bolts due to space constraints. Ended up using a 1/2" socket and drill to slowly tighten the bolts til the head snapped off.No need to get on the floor; you just reach down and hold the nut steady. I've had a stroke and it's a big deal for me to get down on the floor so this feature is greatly appreciated. Installation time was probably less than five minutes and I'm slow so a normal person could probably be dones in 2-3 minutes.5 of 5 starsOnce installed, there is zero play on the seat, not even the slightest hint of a wiggle. This is a fantastic change from the old seat it replaced.** 2mos after install**Still no wiggle. I'm 330# and the seat lives up to its claims.

This toilet seat will make tiny toilets much more comfortable for large men. It is very durable and is adjustable to a small degree when it is being installed. This toilet seat holds tight, once it is on, it stays on.

The seat seems to be good quality for the price. However, whoever came up with the idea of snapping the top of the plastic bolts with a wrench has no idea what they are doing. It just makes what should be a simple job, that should require only a screwdriver, needlessly complicated.

THE PRODUCT IS EXCEPTIONALLY of GOOD QUALITY ( made of wood), paint lacquer well done!One unit the cover was slightly dented due to the fact amazon repacked them together in one box.I can live with it.Thank You,Alex

We were forced to look for a new seat because our previous one was full plastic, with no possibility of replacing the broken hinge. The hinges on the model BEMIS 550TTT 000 are robust and replaceable, if need be. The seat is made of wood composite, is very smooth and has nicely rounded profile, that does not dig into your behind. The ends of the cut-out are also nicely rounded. It is a bit pricy, but I believe that it will be worth it.
