Came with metal screws, not soft close. I have 5 children so time will tell how the seat holds up. Will update if it is destroyed in one month. Lol Install took about ten minutes and looks great after Install. Color match is spot on to my existing glacier bay toliet.

This is a very sturdy toilet seat! Its comfortable (as a toilet seat can be, lol) and it has a soft close lid. The color is a perfect match to my bathroom color.

The price is good but the seat is cheap and flimsy and also slams shut. In retrospect I should have gone with the soft close but wasn’t careful about checking this when ordering. Mine arrived yellowed in places (the plastic itself is doing it, not because it was used) and I didn’t notice until it was installed near a bright window so I didn’t want to deal with removing it to return. Living in a house with boys, I’m sure eventually I won’t notice the color!

It fits my toilet perfectly. The color isn't 1:1, having a slight yellowish hue, but it doesn't affect its function. The material used doesnt seem all that good, since after about 1-year of use, the color/film or something has started to peel away at the hinge, and there is a thin crack in front underneath the toilet seat. Its not cracked/split apart, but it does have a deep line that resembles the start of a crack.

Be aware that the less expensive seats are missing the quiet close feature. Not a problem in my household but could be noisy if you drop the lid or seat instead of closing gently.
