I had explored getting an ergonomic cushion for my office chair to help support my lower back, and discovered that there are so many options. I landed on this one as it was priced well and looked and sounded like it was made well.The cushion is firm (but very comfy) and not squishy or soft. You have to like that firmness. I personally like that as I feel it's very supportive. I purchased it to help with lower back pain from sitting all day and working and also some mild hip pain when getting up after sitting for some time. I find that it relieves pressure from my back, and no more hip pain, so I have found it very helpful and comfortable. I find it also makes me focus on sitting up straight while sitting because it's supportive in the right ways and makes you sit properly vs. my sitting in my normal bad sort of slouchy posture in front of my computer while working :)I like that it has a nicely textured, waffle pattern, high quality cover. It has a zipper so you can remove it and wash it to keep it fresh.Because it is a stiffer type of cushion, it does keep you elevated from the base of your chair and so I personally think you would benefit from having a seat cushion under your feet to elevate your feet as it may be uncomfortable otherwise for your legs if you are sitting for a long time. I'm 5'7" so fairly tall for a woman and still have the need to rest my feet on top of something to keep them comfortable due to the height of the cushion. I have a little stool under my desk where I rest my feet when sitting on it and it's perfect. I know they sell items you can rest your feet on under your desk as well.I read reviews on other cushions on how they lost their shape after a short time. There is no hint of that happening with the one I purchased as it has a firmer memory foam than maybe some of the other options out there.I recently wanted to test how easy the cover was to remove and wash and then put back on the memory foam pillow. It worked great. I did have to fuss with the zipper at first when removing the cover as it got stuck on the side fabric but it was easily rectified. The cover was washed, did not shrink in any way and was easy to slip back into the cushion and zip closed. I was very happy about that!I would recommend this personally, but everyone's comfort needs are different. I don't see any quality concerns at all with this item. It's just a matter of liking the firm but comfy nature of the product. I'm very happy with how it's helped alleviate lower back and hip pain when getting up from working at my computer all day.

I am using this in my Ford Focus. I had a couple other seat cushions but one was too small and it was not form fitted. It kept moving. The other was the Dr. Trigger seat cushion and that was way too thick and made it hard to get into my car.This is the perfect size and really contours my bum perfectly with a little lower back support. It fits well on my seat, not too big nor too small. It's very comfortable and I love it.

I bought this because of my tail bone. The seat is comfortable and works as it should but I feel it's too firm for memory foam. My tail bone likes it so I'm happy with it - I do feel it's costs a bit much though.

I bought this specifically to relieve tailbone pain from extended sitting in a recliner after surgery. When reclined I just seem to hit the joint in the chair where the back meets the seat and my tailbone takes a beating—or used to. Since buying this I’ve been 100% pain free!!!Some folks mention it’s hard, others complain it too thick but collapses and stays that way. It is quite firm—not soft and squishy, but that’s the point. It supports! It’s rather thick when new, and where you make contact will flatten and you end up with a “mold†of your bottom. It’s memory foam—it remembers your shape! Best of all it’s curved up at the back. Wasn’t sure about that but it’s awesome!! 100% shifts the weight OFF the tailbone!!Depending on your needs and what you’re looking for, this is worth every penny! Other models and less expensive cushions don’t come close!!

Very comfortable and cost efficient seat for tail bone injury. This seat is flat and the two “tail like†points on the back side so t go up far like pictured.I use this one for my car drivers seat and fits well.

Overall I like this cushion just fine and if you had a good chair with a bad cushion, this will give you a viable solution to that situation. I happen to get the Cushion Lab in grey at work and it makes a much better impact. I accidently ordered the XL version of this brand and its a bit too large for a regular chair.It feels like a conformed foam cushion and is helpful.The material could be better like the Cushion Lab brand, having a better foam to memory foam mix and really making the better impact overall.Only 3 stars, as it is fine. I would really recommend just getting what you need with the Cushion Lab main one.

I'm 60yo and I have chronic, severe tailbone pain from an injury in my youth. I've tried PT, chiropractic adjustments, trigger point injections, injections under guided fluoroscopy, ergonomic office chairs and I've purchased so many seat cushions that I've lost count. This is the best cushion I've used to date! It is firm but not hard, so it doesn't crush like memory foam. The design of firm, supportive sides and the high back seems to help round out my rear-end so it doesn't flatten and helps give center support to my weight on the cushion. The cut-out is larger than most cushions so even if I slouch a bit, my tailbone is still within the cut-out. I use it everywhere; on the floor (with grandkids), on the couch, on my office chair and in my car and it never loses it's firm support.

Uso questo cuscino da qualche giorno e devo dire che fa davvero la differenza. Passo molte ore seduto alla scrivania e spesso a fine giornata avevo mal di schiena, ma da quando lo uso noto che sto più dritto e mi sento meno affaticato.È morbido ma abbastanza sostenuto, si adatta bene alla schiena senza risultare ingombrante.Se cercate un supporto lombare per stare più comodi in ufficio, lo consiglio!

I am so glad I listened to the reviews. I have been suffering for a few weeks with tail bone pain and inflammation and I couldn't bare to sit on my office chair at work anymore as it was so painful. So I began looking for a cushion to help with the pain and came across this one.Let me tell you, it is perfect and fits amazingly on my office chair.It provides cushion in the right areas to take the pressure off of the tailbone and provides back support too. I find it makes my chair fit my back better, therefore I have better posture and have not had any back pain.It is firm but comfortable, it does provide a small amount of height as well, so be prepared to lower you chair. It made me a little too tall for my desk.I was a little embarrassed to be bringing this to work I will admit, but it really is not massively big and once it's on the chair it is barely noticeable.I highly recommend this cushion!
