I received a wood porch swing gift, as the previous swing had come crashing down--yes, it WAS occupied!--and the broken hook had never been replaced. So the nice swing has been in the garage for a while, and I decided that THIS spring it would be hung, with new hooks so no chance of crashing down again with people swinging in it! I saw these swing hooks and thought that wowser, these would hold up a LOT; they do, up to 1000 pounds! I weigh considerably less than that, so figured buying these to hang my new swing was a no-brainer! Since we are experiencing a bitter cold snap, with wind chills well below zero, and ice and snow everywhere, I won't be installing the swing with these hooks right away, but when I do, I have NO worries whatsoever that they will fail me! They are made of heavy duty rust resistant stainless steel and have lubricated swivel bearings to boot, so you won't be worrying about squeaky hooks! They aren't cheap, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for, which is durability and peace of mind!

I didn't know I needed these, but these make my hammock chairs so much cleaner looking, safer feeling, and easier to point in the direction that I want. They with way better than the rope and chain that came with them.I hoped that they'd be functional, and they are, but they are also heavier, better looking, and more premium feeling than I had expected. I think they'll last a long time.I didn't have as hard of a time with the bolts as other reviewers. I just drilled some pilot holes and the bolts went in fine for me.I'll update the review if they break or start rusting.

We decided it was time to upgrade our swing on our tree in our backyard. The hangers looked so good online and very easy to install. I wasn't disappointed when they arrived, in fact, they were better than I expected! They are very sturdy and were very easy to install 20 feet in the air on a ladder. We purchased a swing base that would be very nice to just lay in. Unfortunately, two bars are missing from it so we will have to wait for the replacement parts to arrive to enjoy these new hangers. The hangers look like they will outlast a swing or two. Very great product, well made, and a definitely a good value for the money.

It doesn't get any easier with a couple lag bolts per hanger (used my own hardware, didn't want to snap off anything in a ceiling joist) and attaching it up. Swings very quiet, and even if it wasn't it's very serviceable with some silicon grease or WD40. You could use this for a rope swing or a double chained swing (used for double chained). Very good hardware for the price in my opinion.

I'm not using these as swing mounts, but to mount chain to the wall. The combination swivel and rotation is perfect for keeping the chain from binding up and getting shorter and shorter from not being able to move freely at the wall. This is a strong, durable joint.

I got these to hang a child sized Hammock in our kids indoor playground area. They are incredibly strong and quiet, don't make any squeaks when using the Hammock. They were easy to install with the screws that came with and seem quite durable. Very pleased with the purchase.
