I used these to hang a pot rack from the ceiling. They are very well made and attractive in appearance. Painted them copper to match the rack. Been hanging for over a year with no concerns. Highly recommend for any strength applications.

These swing hangers are so good that I wanted to rate them as a 5-star product. After all, they give me confidence that they're going to hold everyone I know—regardless of their weight. The parts are all sturdy stainless steel. However, three downsides force me to deduct one star: (1) The spring-steel "key ring" fasteners are a bitch to install. When standing on a ladder, both of them popped out of the pin hole, and were not to be found. I replaced them with stainless steel retainer cotter pins (not cheap ones), which I believe should come standard with this package. (2) One of the cleats was sprung just wide enough that the cotter pin couldn't pass through the partially closed hole in the restraining pin. I used a vice to tighten the cleat a fraction of an inch. (3) Despite the product description on Amazon, the package did not include the requisite 3-inch lag bolts. So, in addition to buying retainer cotter pins, I forked out more cash for stainless steel bolts. The extra items ran up the total cost of the product another 50%.I have one more nit to pick: I sorely need one more of these, but am loath to buy two when I have no purpose for a spare. I wish one could by them singly.

We bought them to hang a yoga swing indoors and then we also purchased a wooden board swing for the kids. Now I’m never able to use my yoga swing because the kids are on their swing 24/7. 🤪Works great. Feels sturdy. Silent once sprayed with W-40. Also look much nicer then a lot of the other hooks for swings.

This is a top quality and very sturdy hanging unit for your porch swing. However, they do not include the screws that are needed to attach the unit to the ceiling. I'm elderly in a remote area and now I have to take them to a hardware store and buy the specialty bolts that they show in the picture that comes inside the box. I would give it five stars if they had included those special bolts. It would have been helpful to put that in the description.
