Swing Set Brackets Instruction Manual
step 1
Install all the swing hangers first.
step 2
Slide bracket over end of beam until it's flush with wood.
step 3
Use 1/4" pilot drill bit to drill holes.
step 4
Use lag bolts and washers fasten brackets.
step 5
Slide side supports into bracket.
step 6
Repeat steps 3-4，secure side supports with lag bolts and washers.

Overall great product . Pressure treated lumber when still drying will have a difficult time entering, I had to use a mallet for a few fitments. The bracket held up well to the hammerings. Dry lumber has a good fit. I would not recommend using the bolts supplied in the kit, upgrade to galvanized if possible.I used 4x4x8 for the legs, and 4x6x8 for the header. I would probably use 4x6x10 next time with some support cross beams.

If you are looking at building a swing, these are fantastic. They are very heavy duty and easy to use. We were surprised when we received them at the weight of them. They are heavy and feel like they are heavy duty. We built the swing about six months ago and they have no signs of rust or wear. I can’t say enough about these brackets they were wonderful. It took us about 20 minutes to build the swing and we can easily move it if we want to without worrying that the brackets will bend.

Installing with this kit was a breeze plus the swing looks amazing. No issues what so ever, Brackets Slide right in our 4x6 & 4x4's no mallet needed. I used these to build an A-frame swings for my kids. I saw some reviews that said they had to shave down the 4x4 and 6x4. I did not need to do this. While I was constructing other parts I lay them out in the sun to dry them up a bit which was recommended by another user. This worked perfect. There was still a small amount of resistance but I was able to get them on no problem with a little wiggling. Cheap, but faulty product, easy to use and very durable. I would buy again and have already recommended to another friend to purchase.

Brackets are well made out of thick metal and seem very sturdy. I’m not keen on the lag bolts included, but they seem to hold up well enough for now. They may loosen over time with movement from the swingset.

Amazing product, my son is so happy! Used 4-4x4x10s and 1 4x6x12, which had to be sanded down some to fit into brackets.

The product seems strong and well built. However, I had posts delivered 4 x 4 and 6 x 4 as specified, I expected the receiving slots to be 4 inch square on the inside. However, they are not they are just shy of a 1/4 of an inch on each edge too small. ( on 4 x 4 slots) So you must trim each post end, now this is real pain if you do not have the tools for trimming. I have seen others post that it was easy to knock in, I can only assume you did not have exact 4 x 4 posts. I find this totally illogical, I am UK based and a 4x4 post is a very common posts size and used for decking etc. Why not make a bracket they slide into? In fact why say they do? Then ship all the way to the UK for me to find out, they do not? I am now going to have to do the trimming as sending back to the USA will be a royal pain in the !! So just be aware that you should have the tools to trim, or get your post supplier to take off the required amount. Maybe get the bracket and take with you to order if it is a local company, sadly I did not.

So I purchased these for our potential tire swing we will be building in the spring. I've had a chance to look at the quality of the brackets and they are 100% solid. They are guys selling tire swings for $1,000 and the only thing that they're not including is the lumber or the swing itself which is not all that much. If you want to build your own tire swing or rope swing this is what you need to start with for sure.

Bracket quality is amazing.... however 1 slight drawback is The measurements of 4x4 and 6x4 is the outer measurements for your bracket, while the wood is the same so I had to buy a plainer to trim down the wood. Would have been good if you had rather specified the inner dimensions as this is what is critical or order to wood correctly.

I bought these brackets from the USA to make my son a swing set for his birthday but guess what - no one stocks 4 x 6 timber in Australia so they are useless. Also, the insides of the brackets are welded uneven and have been put together poorly. Will be posting back to next week.
