This is a very well-made blanket. I bought it as an 'extra' blanket to take camping. I tried it out at home, first, and it isn't a super-warm blanket. But as an extra blanket (on top of another) it will add a slight amount of weight and a bit of warmth. I washed it and dried it twice so far - it 'sheds' a TON of little green pieces of fabric in the washer & the dryer.

Very beautiful, soft cotton, comfortable blanket. They're almost too nice to lay on the sand, but we have used it twice at the beach. Great blanket, beautiful colors and pattens. Cold water wash delicate cycle and dry on low heat.

This blanket is a great size for picnics or the beach. It was soft enough but it doesn’t catch all the dirt and sand. I love the color too! Definitely a great value for the money. Blankets like this sell for $75 or more but this one does the job for more than half the price. I would buy again.

I don't give out 5 stars very often, but this blanket deserves it. Not only is the quality very strong and well put together, but the color is exactly like the picture on Amazon. I'm currently using it as a seat cover for my 1976 Ford F100 Custom and it has withstood the test of time. I hop in this truck and drive it multiple times a day. I'm rough with it, I work, and it's still holding up (the blanket, not so much the truck). It's comfortable and doesn't absorb any heat or cold, so it keeps your temperature moderate. I put holes in it and tied it all to itself with paracord and it never broke, held together great. I highly recommend you get this brand if you're looking for a quality saddle blanket.***2 YEAR REVIEW***... Yup, it's still on there. Same blankets, same paracord, same everything. After daily driving this truck for the past two years, a couple things have come up. It has sun faded where it's exposed, but that's to be expected. Areas that see high contact (like where I get in and out of the seat) have begun to separate and come apart, but not a horrible amount. No real problems with shedding, but it does stain somewhat easy due to the loose fibers. My previous review stands the test of time; 5 stars. And I just purchased two more blankets to swap with my old ones. Don't hesitate to buy.
