- BENFEI USB 3.0 to Ethernet adapter offer a quick speed and compact ethernet solution for your laptop, cellphone and tablet, which could assist the client to connect the ethernet in the weried connection.

Attentions:
- Inside the adapter, a flash is equipped and loaded with various driver for each Operation System, When the adapter is plugged, the flash will load the driver to the OS automatically. But sometimes, OS will block the automatic installation, so we include a disk with driver inside the package for backup. We also upload the driver to our website in case no CD driver.
- For the Chrome OS, the driver is not neccessary, just plug in and play.

Note:
- The USB-Ethernet adapter includes the driver inside the internal flash, normally it should plug in and play. But sometimes, the OS version will block the installation due to security reason, please install it manually.

Important NOTE:
- Driver free on Windows 11/10/8.1, Chrome OS, Linux- Kernel 3.9&above.
- For Windows 7/XP/Vista, Linux-Kernel 2.6.x &Above, macOS 10.9 &Above, the driver can be downloaded or from the included driver disc.
- Reboot your PC after driver installation, then connect this USB Ethernet adapter to your computer and ethernet;
- To reach 1000Mbps, firstly please make sure to use CAT6 & Above Ethernet cables. Secondly, please make sure the usb port is USB 3.0, because USB 2.0 can't reach 1000Mbps.
- When accessing sites on the internet, the Bandwidth provided by your internet service provider will likely determine your ultimate speeds. If you want to reach 1000Mbps, please make sure the banwidth of your internet is enough.
- When connecting, make sure that the network cable is inserted in place, you will hear a "click" lock sound when inserted in place.
- Due to the high-speed network transmission, some heat will be generated during work, which is normal and will not damage the product. The aluminum shell design of the Ethernet Adapter helps the motherboard to dissipate heat and protect the internal electronic circuits.
- This Lan Network Adapter does not support wii u.
- Not supported on ARM-based Windows, including Surface RT and Surface 2.
- Please note, this adapter is NOT a solution for connecting USB devices like printers, hard drives, etc to a network. This adapter cannot be used to share Ethernet, WiFi, or data between multiple devices.
- Not compatible with television.

I was skeptical about converting a USB 3.0 port to Ethernet, but this did the trick. I used it with a 90 degree USB adapter and as soon as I connected it, I saw it in my router's list of clients. Communication was good, I did not check it for speed since I was using it for a 3D printer that lacked an Ethernet port. This was used with Windows 10's latest update and no software or driver was needed. It also has LEDs showing connection/data. Very good value.

My son's Chromebook did not have an ethernet port and we wanted stable internet connectivity. This was our solution. I had to restart the Chromebook in order for it to recognize the adapter and new internet connection. Once it connected my son was able to enjoy our full bandwidth capability. I purchased this because my laptop was having a LAN WiFi Adapter/driver issue that caused me to randomly lose internet several times a day and it was always at the worst times, always when I was working with Hubstaff (time tracker) running. I am not tech-savvy but I figured if I could plug straight into my ethernet it would eliminate the issue temporarily until I figured out my driver issue. So, I jumped on Amazon and looked for an adapter and this one caught my attention so I purchased it and have been using it every day around the clock 7 days a week.I can't believe the difference it has made in my internet. It flawlessly delivers a stable and fast connection. It is a huge change compared to my regular wifi connection that I was previously using. Yesterday, I got to thinking to myself 'What if something happens to it?' I won't be able to work until I get another one. Therefore, I ordered another one yesterday. lol The connections on each end fit perfectly to my router (Xfinity) and my laptop USB port. I also received the adapter in under 2 days.
