Used this with other cabling to connect to a VHS Player and download contents to my PC. Goal is to use movie editor software to create a file and then burn to DVD. The download was complete with no problems. Be aware that the converter needs a separate USB power source for power. I used the 2 front ports on my tower.

The device works well if you want to watch and capture A/V on your PC. You have to also watch the game on your PC. So, if you're capturing game play video from your PS5, say, then you have to feed this device into your PC, where you also have to watch the game. You cannot, with this device, play your PS5, record it on your PC, and view it on your widescreen TV. You'd have to view it on your PC. If that doesn't bug you, then maybe this is the device for you.

sed this to stream my Xbox 360 into OBS, and it worked right out of the box with no issues. Super easy to set up and does exactly what it’s supposed to

As opposed to what they advertise, this product is NOT supported on the current MacOS (with MacBook Pro)On their website, Benfei tell you to install device drivers that break the Mac's security. I WOULD NOT TO DO THAT. Even so, those drivers seems to be for other Benfei products. This product is not even listed on their web site.I know the problem is theirs and not mine, because a competing device (VIXLW) works well , using the same video capture software (OBS)

This capture card is affordable and works well. The features and latency are better than some USB Drive style capture card. The resolution is not as good as an Elgato capture card I use but this one has similar latency at a much more affordable package.

This USB capture card works great. The Meta Quest 3 VR headset has introduced an app to allow using HDMI inputs in VR, such as a Steam Deck, Playstation, or laptop. In order to use that feature you must use a USB capture card, and this works amazingly well for a very reasonable price.I have less experience using this on a PC, but it would allow you to record output from a device and stream it if you would like.

Very impressed. At 1080p/60fps I did not found a difference between this and Elgato HD 60X.Bought this as a backup for my streaming setup which is using a Sony ZV-E10 camera with OBS Studio.Of course it does NOT do 4K Output but it DOES 4K Input..I recommend this as a budget solution
