In addition to the 2, 3 and 4-thread seams, you can also provide your sewing projects with excellent rolled hems with a width of up to 1.5 mm. THREADING MADE SIMPLE The colour-coded, open thread path makes the bernette Funlock 44 easy to thread by following the coloured markings. A separate needle threader and lower looper threading mechanism also make threading easier. PLENTY OF SPACE FOR YOUR ACCESSORIES The most important overlocker accessories are always to hand in the looper cover. Other accessories are stored in a separate box. PRECISE AND FLEXIBLE OVERLOCKING With the bernette Funlock 44, your sewing is always uniform, even at 1300 stitches per minute. The differential feed always ensures smooth seams with knitted fabrics and crimp-free seams with fine fabrics. Excellent overlock! I own a sewing machine from Bernina. This is very well made and the instruction manual is very descriptive.

My old overlock from another company wore out. So I treated myself with a new Bernina.Directions/ threading pictures are not true to actual equipment. AFter three days of following instructions I'll have to go to a Bernina dealer to thread this machine. The Amazon advertisement was not accurate on price. It indicated a big savings on the price. Price paid was the same as local venders .

My machine burned out after 2 1/2 months. It started to get very very slow and got jammed so I cleaned the dust with a brush and tried again .... the machine literally exploded on my face. I had to use se fire extinguisher on it. Called Amazon and they told me to contact the manufacturer and I did but couldn’t get anyone over the phone and over email they replied saying that they were not accepting emails at that point and that I had so send the email again on another date. Very upsetting

So. My only previous experience was the jaguar 099. Which clearly hated me. To the point I never successfully serged anything on it without a thread breaking or a needle snapping or it jamming. Seriously not even 4â€So. Biting the bullet knowing how great these things are I bought a better known brand. Which frankly cost little more than the jaguar.Hot knife through butter.The one thing the jaguar did have which I did like was it had a built in cutter. And if this had that I’d have fallen in love.The other downer was this product shows clearly coming with carrying bag and in fact the bag is clearly shown as a thing by itself. This did not come with. Some weird clear plastic throw over comes with. I have docked a point cos the bag was a key reason I picked this one.However. I threaded up (no thread provided) and increased tension on left looper to get thinner stitches and tada my first guess was spot on and serged both sides of this weaving cut off I had. Perfect.I found it easy to keep a straight enough line too.Awesome machine. Shame about the bag.
