My mom has a sheep, that they’ve been unable to catch for several years. There’s also no power running in the back area where all the big animals are kept. My mom hired a man to sheer the sheep years ago, but he just never showed up. My mom lives in Jersey, myself in Cali. I went to visit her, and when I learned of the Issues I went into problem solving mode. Especially when she mentioned just getting a knife and trying to cut it that way. (She wouldn’t, but she’s supremely frustrated) and also has cancer so she only has so much energy. Still she helped me hold the sheep after I chased it down. The damn sheep was NOT compliant, and I may need another back, but I can guarantee after only being able to cut off most of its Wool (as she thought the sheep was stressed and didn’t want me to cut more at that time) the sheep has lost at least half of its Body weight. I only wish I lived closer to help her more. But this was amazing, it cut thick gross hunks of wool Like butter. And there’s one happy ridiculous looking sheep running around with some cows in New Jersey who no longer gets stuck when she falls over.

I really love these shears! They are very comfortable to use and can be adjusted for a wide grip. The lock and strap are very convenient. Thank you!

These are a unique addition to my collection of garden tools. They are great for shaping my garden mums and edging areas too delicate for a string trimmer.

You cannot use these without painfully pinching your hand no matter how you hold them. Useless.

I haven’t really used it extensively to make a thorough review; however, I did test it out and from this, it seems very adequate. It is sharp and easy to use. I like the fact that it can be locked in the closed position. It fits much better in my palm than those I used perviously..

Great sheers! I'm using them for gardening, which I think these should also be advertised towards gardening as they work great and will definitely reach a wider audience. They are super sharp and have no issue cutting stems in the garden. The large wooden handles are also very comfortable and make it easy to use them without straining your hand. Definitely a new go to in my garden tools.

These are rather lethal looking hand shears, to be honest. I found them sharp and easy to use on the tall grass along my fence line, however, although I will need to build up my hand strength. My husband grew up on a sheep ranch, however, so he quickly snatched them up and gave them a lookover. He wasn't crazy about the wooden handles ("not sure I like these wood pieces here"), but then went over into regaling me with the proper way to cut fleece from a sheep with the things. Honestly, I have no idea how that could be done without impaling the poor animal, but he assures me these are the tools of choice for such a job--or electric shears, of course. Since we dont' and won't own any sheep, these will be consigned to grass and deadheading marigolds.
