I recently purchased this clear chair mat for my husband's home office, and he couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance. It fits perfectly under his desk and provides excellent protection for the carpet. The mat is thick and durable, yet transparent enough to see the carpet under it.One of the best features is that the mat stays in place—it doesn’t slide or curl at the edges. It’s also smooth, making it super easy for the chair to glide across without any resistance. We were initially concerned about it scratching or scuffing, especially when the office chair wheel broke and plowed into the mat—but there was no damage!We highly recommend this mat if you’re looking for a sturdy and stylish solution to protect your carpet. Note that you can’t see the MESAILUP mat under the left chair unless you zoom in - it is flawlessly sheer yet WAY more sturdy and effective than the plastic mat under the chair on the right. Will be replacing that so they both are flawless!Go ahead - you and your happy productivity are worth it‼ï¸

I absolutely love this chair mat! It's completely clear and looks great with my lvp flooring. It has great slip resistance and barely moves even without using the tape provided, unlike the other mats I have tried in the past. I think it's a great value for what you get, nice and thick with a beveled edge to make it easy to roll on and off mat as needed . I loved that it arrived flat and packaged really well and didn't need time to unroll.

Supposed to be able to use over carpet or rug. Might work on really thin office carpet or carpet tiles. Also supposed to hold up to heavy weights (we are not that). Not our experience. Had 5 cracks within a month and a half of receiving. Will say that this company was quick to acknowledge the problem and give us a refund. Nice looking product with smooth beveled edging. Just did not work for our situation. Maybe a thicker one would work.

Fantastic Chair Mat. Very satisfied with this chair mat. Non-slip, alows for smooth gliding of chair, looks great. Thick with a beveled edge to make it easy to roll on and off mat. Arrived ahead of scheduled delivery and was very well packged. The packaging was damaged during shipping but was so well packaged it did not damage the mat.The mat has been in use for a few weeks with no cracks, scratches or any defects

This is the nicest chair mat I’ve ever used (and I’ve had lots over the years). It’s so much thicker than other ones, giving a more solid surface to roll on. Aesthetically, it also looks nicer than the ones with the tiny spikes. It’s also actually clear instead of frosted, so it doesn’t stand out. All around great find.

My husband has been incredibly unkind to a couple of successive chair pads. And, as they failed, the rugs underneath them did as well - rendering each a short lived, soul-crushing waste. In an effort to rehab his home office from "spare-room WFH afterthought" to "a mature professional works (and games) here", and to improve the longevity of the furnishings, I took a chance on this admittedly very pricey floormat.Since I was wading into a higher price point, I considered a tempered glass mat as well, but just couldn't see that material standing up to the abuse dished out to the last victims of this man's office.Initial opinions: It's rare to have an online item come as coddled and protected as this one did. The packaging, primarily sustainable, and clearly all in on getting the item delivered FLAT, and in pristine condition, is still pretty extra - including some thin plyboard that the receiver may find challenging to dispatch or inspired to re-use.Aesthetically, this is far superior to any other mat I've encountered. You'd think that clear is clear, and the idea is to see the floor underneath, but this mat is actually pretty on its own. While it included some clear glue pads for extra adhesion, it's quite heavy and lays very flat, therefore we haven't needed them on a low pile rug. The generous bevel size makes for clear rolling and isn't a trip hazard.The mat's been in place for about 6 weeks, and looks as good as new. That being said, I underestimated my tall husband's and his large office chair's overall range of motion, and purchased the 36" x 48" unit which is too small. So now will be claiming ownership of the smaller mat for my own office, and shelling out $ for the larger mat for his. I recommend measuring not just the area under the chair, but also the user's rolling/moving habits to ensure the right purchase the first time.

It solves my problem and works well for the price. I feel more confident with this material versus all glass for safety
