When it comes to braided fishing line, todays anglers have a lot to choose from.Premium braids tend to be very expensive but offer noticeable advantages over the less expensive, “made in China” braid which many companies offer.Tighter braiding, better handling, better knot tying and increased lifespan are typically the advantages you’ll see if you spend more money and purchase a premium braided line.This 4 strand braid from “Beyond Braid” is good line.It’s half the price of name brand premium braid but still performs well.It feels tightly braided, to me, and my rough hands don’t catch and pull individual fibers loose from the line.That’s a common characteristic I’ve seen with cheaper lines but not with this Beyond Braid.This line handles well and holds knots securely.I haven’t used it enough to comment on whether it holds its color or if that bleeds and fades with use.Time will tell.So, so far, I am favorably impressed with Beyond Braid, particularly for the price it sells for.My only criticism is with with the packaging of the line.The company, very prominently, places an American Flag and “USA company” on the box and on the spool of line.On the bottom flap of the box, in tiny print, is printed “assembled in China.”I believe that the manufacturer wants to mislead consumers into believing it’s a “Made in USA” product.You may be an American owned company but your product isn’t American made and if you weren’t trying to be misleading, you wouldn’t be trying to hide the “assembled in China” in tiny print on the bottom of the box.I like American companies to succeed but I appreciate transparency regarding where their products come from and Beyond Braid is clearly dragging their feet regarding letting us know it’s nota “made in USA” product.One star removed for the misleading packaging and making me rant about it.

We do a to of bass fishing and I was in need for a heavier braid for a baitcaster and using some heavier lures. This has fit the bill perfectly! This braid has a good quality to it and will reel and cast wonderful. I am very picky about braid and this has earned it's right on my rod. The blue has not yet faded through many times in the sun. I have not had any issues with the breaking or fraying either.I highly recommend to other anglers!

Lost two different fish today from this line snapping. No they were not sharks but small large mouth and a pike.If you want to actually get your fish to the boat, don't buy this line.
