I didnt actually use this for lighting! I wanted an old world/antique style option for hanging a large plant that I love, in a room I recently renovated. This was an excellent choice!!!! It looks GORGEOUS in our space, and we get compliments on it almost every time people come over. You don't expect compliments on a plant hanger, but this demands them lol. Definitely recommend. Very easy to install and seriously adds such a lovely detail! I will try to add a picture asap!

I had an old hanging lamp with a wall plug, and I used this kit to convert it to a ceiling fixture. Everything I needed was included, and it's doing a great job holding up the heavy metal lamp.The included chain is fairly long if you need the length, but you can also shorten it like I did — you'll just need some pliers to get one of the chain links open.

Hard to mount if hanger isn't exactly flush with drywall. The screws that are used to place caps on are short so would have to find the exact size and make longer. I ended up having to space out the mounting bracket so that way it's flush with drywall. Takes 2 people to install due to having to run electrical though and hold up and then secure it.
