Worked for my need. Knob was bigger than expected but still works. I bought a spiked compound bow holder that had allen screws to hold the holder part. I didn't want to carry around a allen wrench. So I bought these knobs and seems to work fine. Tested with my bow and worked just fine. Now if the part that holds the bow needs to be tightened or adjusted it can be done easily now. Worked for me like I said.

No really, these are great knobs. I ordered them to replace the original knobs on the umbrella stand for my patio table. The dog chewed the original ones and when I got these replacements I was very impressed not just with their aesthetic beauty which was unexpected but they are much larger than the original ones (see photo) r making it much easier to tighten and loosen the umbrella shaft. These are hard and sturdy knobs that I hope my dog will not chew on as he did those tiny softer original knobs.

Big Horn 19712B-5PK 5/16-18 x 1" stud 7-Star knob (5/PK)Bought these to replace some that were lost on a Spartan Zero turn lawn mower. They fit very well even though the thread length is just a little long. Much cheaper for four than Spartan wanted for just one.

Stud is larger than 5/16-18 and will not fit 5/16-18 nut or thread.

I ordered the 5/16x18 , 1 inch stud.. The package showed the correct part number and 5/16 size, but the actual knobs were 3/8 inch, too large for my application.They are sturdy knobs, but no reply from the vendor via email sent..
