Good paint finish. Material looked stout. Easy to out together. It has held my 6.5 Diesel engine well for the past week and a half. Easy to move it around the garage floor. I did grease the shaft that rotates the engine. I was testing how well the engine would rotate and about lost control of it, it moves so well. Highly recommend this engine stand.

Don’t usually write reviews. Very easy to assemble. All the hardware was in boxes. Perfect for small block Chevy & Ford engines. Extremely stabile. Would suggest for any DIY.

The max span of the arms is about 3/4" shy of being able to reach the 2 bottom bolt holes on the rear of a 460...you can grab 1 higher bolt on 1 side and work on the engine, but if your crazy and desire perfect symmetry in your set up, it'll bug you.The stand is sturdy, and for most engines will work great. It rolls well, spins well, and doesn't have any play to speak of. The people on here complaining about the box arriving torn and a few nicks in the paint are hilarious, but if your one of those, yeah, the heavy steel components you are ordering for a comparatively low price are probably going to arrive with a few poke throughs in the packaging. It makes zero difference on the performance of the piece.

Been holding this 6.0 lq9 since probably october... about 8 months and not sagging or anything. It's definitely a lit of weight for it but I not past it's limits. Moved it around the yard without issue just takes some muscle.

I bought this engine to support my 4.6 aluminum block Rover V8/Buick 215. Definitely up to the task. Reasonably priced abd fast shipping. Box was slightly damaged in the corner but no missing parts and the stand was not damaged.

Very pleased with over all heavy duty parts. Everything went together very well, certainly appears to be sturdy. Will be putting to the test over the next month see how it works under load.

No problem holding onto a 6.0L 1000lb Powerstroke. The engine was not completely dressed as I removed the turbo and any of the accessories on the front of the engine. Pushed it around my small garage without any real effort, except make sure the floor is clean as any pebble with this much weight on it with steel wheels will stop it. Turning the engine in the stand was quite the chore, took two people and a cheater bar and I would only turn it about 30 degree's as I don't think I could have turned it back over - I did have it well greased. Made it a chore to replace the upper and lower pan but could have been worse. Overall pretty happy.

I would recommend this to anyone needing one. It's been holding a small block Chevy for several months waiting for me to get at it and has shown no adverse reaction to the task.
