This was a cheap, easy solution to the brake job on my 2012 Toyota Avalon. Good enough quality to save for future work. Inexpensive enough to justify buying for a one-off job and less awkward than c-clamps. Perfect addition to the toolbox for a DIY mechanic.

The front brakes it doesn't push both caliper piston at same time, i needed wrench also with tool to compress both pistons. The rear brakes have one caliper piston and it worked perfect as intended. This is nothing on the tool but a word of advise, use old brake pad to cover new one so you don't damage. i would recommend for the price it was perfect foe my needs

I've always used a C-clamp to compress the calipers but it is often difficult to get it positioned securely and make sure the caliper goes in straight. This tool worked great, very easy to use, and I had more confidence that I wasn't going to mess up the caliper.

Simple tool does the job, much better than trying to use a different tool

Works great. Worth it just to make things easy and a must have if you do your pads ever year or two. Glad I got it!

Low quality, under pressure top knob came lose leaving it stuck. If you find your self in with this same problem, grind 2 sides flat and when it get loose with a wrench and throw it away. Do not recommend put your money and time somewhere else.
