It works better than no AM antenna. Eventually I will be replacing it with a better unit. For the price it works well.

Bought this for AM reception tried both connecting it via wires and just placing it near the radio but makes no difference what so ever to reception. It's also much smaller than it appears in the picture.I guess I should have expected as much for such a low price but I figured it do something but nope.Doesn't help doesn't hurt nothing nada...I'm going to return it and buy a more expensive antenna. See how it goes.Not sure why this has so many positive reviews. Maybe it works for FM or just doesn't like the stations I'm trying to pick up idk...

This is the same or comparable to the OEM antennas used for am reception on clock radios that utilize bare wire installation. Keep in mind there is no plug on the end just wires.

Does what it supposed to do! I can now get AM stations very well inside my RV with my tabletop AM radio by placing it the window or skylight!

Great price point however maybe it's the location but I'm getting a fair bit of feedback, may be my basement, will try relocating it but an immediate improvement of 40% over the other one.
