Sure I could use these for something legit like disposing of my insulin test strips... but I wanted something to mess with my coworkers. They're bags, they're sturdy, and would work well to contain any bio waste.That said they're even better for putting a sandwich in. Even though everybody knows it's probably fake, nobody wants to be wrong. These would be great for Halloween. If youbhave any concerns about someone messing with your lunch, put it in a small back bag (to obscure what it is) and put that bag in this bio bag. Nobody will touch it.

I received these GUDGI Biohazard specimen bags to evaluate and review. They arrived in very good condition and were delivered by the promised date.I've read some of the other reviews and I see that we kind of think alike--I don't have any great quantities of biohazardous waste sitting around here needing to be stored or disposed of. I actually ordered these because I thought it would be humorous to use these bags for other purposes just to see how people react. It has already been rewarding, because it seems that some people do a double take when offered a snack from a bag with this orange biohazardous specimen label on it! The bonus here is that these bags are thicker than your ordinary ziploc baggie, and they are larger, so they seem incredibly useful for storing things other than food as well. The ziploc functions very well, with it easily opening and closing as intended. All in all these appear to be very sturdy and should be able to be used as safe storage for waste items, food, craft supplies, first aid items etc. I give these GUDGI Biohazard specimen bags FIVE STARS and I do recommend them, for whatever items you want to safely store! I requested this item because the listing stated the bags could withstand sterilizing up to 275F. “Biohazard bags is made of linear low-density polypropylene and can withstand high temperature sterilization at 135°C (275°F).â€They cannot. They melt together at about 250F when I tried to use them for that purpose.No doubt these are good for many other uses, but I do not recommend for sterilizing, or anything where heat is involved.

I don't know many people who would get these for actual biohazards. That's not a common thing for most people, but this would work well and at a decent price for any clinic that needs a way to seal up gauze and bandages and other things that were in contact with body fluids.Good construction, walls are sturdy, the seals seal it tight. Even with some liquid in it to test, it holds up to squeezing better than a standard ziplock bag.Lettering and graphics are crisp and easy to see, so they would do their job well. And for people just using them around the house, they will also work great there.

These are resealable storage bags labeled for use as specimen bags. They’re 2 mil thick, which is the standard thickness for storage bags. For reference, sandwich bags are 1.5 mil and freezer bags are 3 mil. They’re a little narrower and a fair amount longer than the “quart bags†you may already have. As expected, it’s easy to label them using a Sharpie or similar marker pen.Unlike regular bags, these bags claim to be built to tear and puncture resistance standards. Anecdotally, they do seem to be built a little tougher than regular 2 mil bags, although I’ll leave the serious testing to the pros.Interestingly, the manufacturer itself suggests food storage and portioning of children’s Halloween candy as possible applications for these bags. Having taken them up on that suggestion, I can confirm that it’s a conversation starter and that it makes you out to be a bit of a weirdo. That’s a positive in my book. Obviously, they can be used as labeled for protecting (or disposing of) your precious bodily fluids as well.Five stars.

This is sort of silly, but I find these biohazard bags to be much more of a bargain than a regular Ziplock bag. The thickness of the plastic is great because it's designed for holding in specimens that need to be sent to a lab. The Ziplock itself is just okay- if you get the branded Ziplock bags, those have a much more reliable, much more durable, much more heavy-duty zip portion that is either a thicker zip or a full-on zipper. However, I'm not using these bags for anything heavy duty, so this works just fine for me.I got these bags to carry snacks and kibble for my dog for whenever we go on mini trips or picnics. It doesn't quite fit a sandwich which is fine for me, but if you're looking for a disposable snack bag, this could be your more affordable alternative. Sure, the biohazard logo can be a bit off-putting, but that just means that no one will be touching or stealing your food, right?

We're sort of odd people and have a unique sense of humor. I saw these biohazard bags I thought they would be excellent for snacks or storage of smaller items.The bags arrive in a larger zippered plastic bag and include 100 pieces. The bags are larger than a sandwich bag and would be closer to a quart-sized option. They're water-tight and are quite durable for such a thin plastic. The zippers work well and hold strong and I'm really pleased with how they're performing.We've been really enjoying using these and getting a few odd glances while we do. They'd be great for snacks or favors at a Halloween party or for gag gifts. I'm really pleased with this order. They're a little more expensive than regular zippered storage bags but totally worth it. Between the fun look and the quality, they're a super great product.
