I didn't know it, but this is exactly what I needed to solve my problem with being able to tighten my belt properly. Whoever in in the distant past did the A/C for this thing, made some seriously janky brackets. But this cheap part fit perfectly on my 1968 307 V8 SBC. Running like a champ again!

I have this on a '67 283 with corvette exhaust manifolds and Edelbrock valve covers. I can just barely get belts on it and the adjuster is at the end of its throw. It hasn't kicked belts yet, but I foresee it will.

Parts were scratched pretty bad. Needed right away so kept the pieces and used them. It did not affect the purpose but if you are using to show your car it may not be something you want.

Noticed my classic car making a noise while I was driving late through a large city. Thankfully I made it home but discovered my lower alternator out had broken, leaving my alternator hanging by the top mount. I installed it almost a year ago but it wasn't driven regularly. I'll spend extra next time to make sure I'm not stuck on the side of the road somewhere
