Ease of installation but I don’t think the diameter is correct so I had use different hose clamps to fasten radiator hose on and makes it really easy to add a aftermarket temperature gauge

Use it for an AEM water temp sensor. because if using an aem water temp sensor though cause its a small ID fitting so the sensor will bottom out. Don't ask me how i know. other then the provided clamps that kind of suck everything else works great!

Item fits a 5/8" hose but the clamps that come with the item does not. So if you purchase this you'll need to buy new clamps. It seems to be of good quality just wrong size clamps

Overall great quality, only complaint is that it doesn’t have a dedicated spot for a ground. I used this to install a water temp gauge which required the sensor to be grounded on the body. I had to drill and tap a hole which wasn’t a big deal. I’d recommend buying one with a predrilled spot if your application requires it. The supplied hose clamps were not only the incorrect size, they just didn’t look trustworthy.

If your coolant sensor grounds through the body you will need to come up with a way to ground it. I drilled a hole and tapped it for a bolt so I could use a ring terminal.
