Our Story
COMEMORI was born out of the love and loss of our beloved cat, who was a part of our lives for 13 years before he passed away.
It wasn’t easy to find an urn that lived up to his memory, so we decided to create our own, which is when MON CHAT D’AMOUR was born.
Each urn is made with the utmost care. We’ve chosen a simple, timeless design that will fit naturally into any interior style.

Animals offer us pure, unselfish love and accept us as we are. They teach us patience, compassion and responsibility.

Like you, we had a unique relationship with our cat. He was much more than a pet, he was a fully-fledged member of our family.
His passing left a huge void in our lives. Saying goodbye to a companion is a painful experience for everyone, especially for children.

This urn is the most beautiful one I've ever seen. It's so hard to find black cat urn and this one is perfect in every way and so sweet. It is sturdy and well crafted. It's big enough for me to put a collar around and looks great on a memorial shelf. This one is worth every cent.

Very beautiful and the bottom opens to a large opening and will fit a bag of ashes, my cat was about 10 pounds when she passed. The bottom screws on securely so no risk of my children accidentally opening it. Very pleased and it is a perfect resting place for my sweet kitty.

My 17 year old cat passed. At such a hard time I came searching for the perfect urn for his ashes. Even though his ashes came in a beautiful box, my boy needed one like his brothers urn who passed a couple years ago. This is perfect. It's beautiful. The quality. It makes me happy to see them. Proudly on the console in the living room. Back together 💙 💙

Lost my sweet boy a few months ago. He was my best friend for nearly 10 years. He had such a unique personality, and anyone who visited felt welcomed and loved by him. He was so incredibly loving and friendly to everyone he met, as well as other animals like dogs, birds, rabbits, etc. which most people don't expect from a black cat. My spooky kitty was loved by so many people; he saw me through the toughest years of my life, and unfortunately, he was taken too soon.He was run down on the side of the road by a sick and evil person who hit him on purpose. They then left him torn to shreds for me to find the next morning. I'll never recover from the trauma and heartbreak of having to find him like that. His face was unidentifiable...I couldn't see his cute little nose or even hold him one last time, I couldn't pet his head or boop his little paw, I couldn't say goodbye. His remains were transported to the shelter in a plastic trash bag where he was cremated and then returned to me in a Ziploc sandwich bag. The entire process had me completely devastated and beside myself.While I was waiting for his ashes to be ready, I started looking at options to keep him in. I knew I wanted to honor him and the love and joy he brought into our home/lives. I shopped for urns for days trying to find the one best suited for my baby... but they were ALL so expensive and too "posh" looking for his personality:/I found this one and totally fell in love with the look/vibe, but I was really worried about the quality, and I was afraid it wasn't going to be big enough... but as soon as it arrived on my porch, I felt so much relief. I SOBBED when I opened it up, because it looks so much like my boy- and as soon as I put him inside and set him in his favorite spot, I had a sense of closure that I hadn't been able to have since he passed. He was finally home with me, and I knew he'd be safe and warm in there where we could honor his memory and continue to love him as much as he deserves.Sorry for the sob story, I just never anticipated the process of finding an urn for my cat to be so traumatic- but this was 100% the right choice! The urn itself is beautiful and smooth, the opening at the bottom is the perfect size to easily insert the ashes without stress (we kept the ashes in the bag to be extra safe) and it is secured with 3 screws that keep everything secure but also make it easy for removal if ever needed. This is a great & affordable option for your little family members and properly commemorates our sweet kitty. I give him a little pets every time I walk by, and when I'm really missing him, I can hold it comfortably and stroke the little head... it's quite therapeutic to be honest. I am so happy with this purchase. Thank you for giving me the closure I needed.

My husband and I lost our beautiful boy, Apawllo, a few days ago. Not having him with us was so painful and lonely. Now, we can both rest easy knowing that he is home sleeping peacefully in this beautiful urn.The urn is light but sturdy, and very well crafted. It’s not very large, but we were able to put his ashes, favorite ball, collar, and a few treats inside. It encapsulates who Apawllo was so well, and I’m sure it will honor your beloved as well.

It is a beautiful urn just as described. The opening is decent sized, it was easy to transfer my sweet boys ashes to this urn. Might not matter to everyone but there is plenty of space inside. I was able to put my boys collar with him and his favorite toy in there as well and still had room. Pictures of the urn on the beautiful wooden box he came home in and bonus pics of my sweet boy.

The matte black sleepy kitty looks exactly like my past cat. Perfectly sized, and made from a material that makes me feel will be durable in the event of anything happening. Can’t say I’d buy again because hopefully I won’t have this experience again anytime soon. But in the event I do, I’d probably get one that looks different so it doesn’t look like I collect cremated cats.

The urn arrived today and I love it. It us smaller than it appeared on the photographs (which is a good thing). I love the clean lines it fits in with modern decor. And my boy was an all white so itts just perfect. Quality, aesthetic, weight all good. Thank you.

Nous cherchions une urne qui reunisse plusieurs critères:- faite avec une matière solide en cas de chute de l'urne accidentellement.- esthétique- avec une grande ouverture dessous pour y mettre facilement le sachet hermétique contenant les cendres que nous a donné le crématorium. Je ne me sentais pas de les transférer directement dans l'urne et l'ouverture large (env 6cm) permet donc aisément de faire rentrer le sachet contenant les cendres.Cette urne respecte tous nos critères cités précédemment.L'urne est très jolie et bien représentative de la position que prenait notre chat pour dormir.Nous sommes contents de l'avoir trouvée pour le repos éternel de notre chat que nous avons tant aimé.
