I needed a set of skewers for my Biknd Helium V4 soft case to secure the fork and rear dropout to the fixed base of the case. This double set was perfect as it included two full sets of fork and rear dropout skewers so I know that I will have the proper skewer length for the unique adapters included with the case. Set is complete with small skewer springs and front and rear quick release skewers. Was not concerned with purchasing a top of the line skewer for this utility purpose. If you just need an inexpensive skewer set for uses like this, this set should suffice. Plus, at less than $10.00 for two full sets the purchase was priced right.

I fix up old unwanted bikes and resale them and I'm always looking for a great value on bulk parts, and at the price, these definitely fit the bill. I ordered 2 boxes of these and one of the front levers was a little corroded and crunchy feeling but it still works fine. I'm definitely going to order more to keep on hand for my home bike shop. They are also a lot lighter than the old school steel levers that wore out and kept slipping.

Far cheaper and just as good a quality as what is far more expensive at the local bike shop! For some reason Bike shops have turned into a micro business that thinks they are selling Porsche and the parts are for Porcshes only? Not to be bashing Porcshes, but my wifes bike was a thousand schekels and buying parts for it is rediculous, its a bike! Geesh...Anyways her front axle needed replacing and these worked just fine!

I tried to hold it together with random parts as you see here… a few washers, part of an IKEA bed frame and some Teflon tape. No good. Go for the real deal!
