I have had my cuisinart food processor for at least 25 years. Its still going strong. I am grateful to have found the replacement part blade. Its the exact one for my food processor.

Doesn't quite go to the edge of the bowl (which usually isn't a big deal). Not really sharp; doesn't get tough bread or nut very fine.

This replacement blade for Cuisinart 14 cup Food Processor is the same size and shape blades as the original that came with my machine, however, there are definite differences in the quality of the blades. The original blade has longer and deeper serrations at the edge and the edge is a different shape on the new replacement (see photo for comparison). The metal of the original is of higher quality and has held the sharpness of the edge well over the 2 years that I have owned the machine. I ordered this one as a back-up blade and also to have the convenience of a clean extra blade during food preparation. The metal of this replacement blade is pock-marked and not the same quality stainless steel as original. I tested chopping raw carrots and partially frozen broccoli florets with each blade. The replacement blade lifted up off the center shaft when chopping the partially frozen broccoli and did not chop the pieces as evenly sized as the original blade. I will buy the name brand product in the future and not a knock-off. I gave this 2 stars rather than 1 because it did fit the machine but did not perform as well and had lesser grade metal used for blades.

I bought a used Cuisinart about 5 years ago and it has needed a new blade for at least a year. When I saw this one I knew I had to try it.PROS: It looks and feels exactly like the original blade for the Cuisinart 14 cup food processor. It is definitely sharper than my old blade. I had homemade bread drying on the counter for a week to make bread crumbs and the new blade crushed the hard bread into crumbs in less than a minute.CONS: None that I found in the first few usages.OVERALL: This is a great replacement blade at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again when I need another blade for my food processor.
