I have been using this obd2 scanner for almost a year, and I could not be happier about its function and quality. I use it to check my car, my family’s cars, and even my neighbor's car, and it always works perfectly. It not only reads the error codes but also deletes them, and this is a great function because not all scanners can delete codes. My favorite feature is the whole system scan, it scans everything and helps you understand the complete health conditions of your vehicle, including engine, ABS, SRS, transmission, etc. If there is an error code, the App will tell you the code definition, layman’s definition, and effect on the vehicle, so even people who don’t have car knowledge can understand. My neighbor told me that the repair shop charged him $120 for just scanning his car, and this scanner is only $70, and I can use it to scan an unlimited number of cars, so it saves me a lot of money. Sometimes I do a whole system scan even when there is no issue, just to make sure everything is right.Another good thing about the product is that the companion App RS2 is free, no subscription fee. I saw some reviews here saying that they have to pay for the App, I don’t think that is true because I have never been charged.The scanner can also help you prepare for the SMOG test. If your car is older than 10 years, like mine, the DMV will ask you to do a SMOG test every 2 years. The scanner has 3 color lights on the App, and if you see a green, that means you can pass the SMOG, and if you see yellow or red, that means your car will not pass SMOG check and the App will tell you what repair is needed to pass the test, and this is very convenient.The scanner has a lot of functions and provides more information than I share, and you can explore it yourself, it is fun. I will recommend this product to every car owner.

First, I purchased two very expensive OB2 readers and they didn't have Toyota and Lexus even though the descriptions claimed they had 75 plus Asian manufacturers. Also, one of them required a monthly subscription to continue using the reader. I was at a lost, but decided to try one more time. This time, I decided to go cheap and get a Bluetooth OB2 reader connected to an app which didn't require a sub.I am totally happy. I plugged the dongle into the OB2 port, downloaded the app, turn the key to the on position and used the app to search for the dongle. It took all of 60 seconds to find. Then I had to answer a couple questions about trim level and odometer and that was it. I was in the interface ready to start running diagnostics. I ran the "whole system check" which took about 3 minutes to complete and I was able to find out what the issues were that was causing the check engine light on my Toyota Sienna.It also found old error codes that were left behind from previous maintenance work done on the car. With a simple "Erase All Codes" press of a touch screen button, it cleared all the codes out. Maybe 1 minute tops. Turned on the car and the check engine light was gone.The app is great. It has details about the error codes with links to parts on the Amazon store or links to videos to see what could possibly be a fix for it.Also, the app is responsive and doesn't lag like the two very expensive readers previously. Lastly, I can use it on my Toyotas, Lexus and Honda without needing anything else. This reader is great. I would recommend over and over to friends if I could. You don't need the more expensive devices, this is all you need.Resets include: TPMS, Brakes, Engine, ECM, ABS, and others.Includes scans for: Brake life, oil levels, oil temp, air pressure, alternator test, battery test, and so much more.You don't need anything else.
