It’s a gasket. A tiny, unimportant-looking piece of rubber that somehow holds the entire fate of my blender in its flimsy grip. Without it? Leaks, messes, an existential crisis over why a ring of rubber has this much power over my life.But, credit where credit is due: it works. My blender no longer threatens to flood my kitchen every time I make a smoothie. So, five stars, even though I resent that I had to buy this in the first place.

Our Oster blender is over 30 years old and these gasket rings fit it perfectly. They arrived on schedule, in excellent condition and are exactly as described in the ad.

The rings are well-made, and appear to be made from quality materials. They arrived promptly, exactly on the day promised.I took a chance, not being able to locate a gasket anywhere else for my (very old) Oster. It will work for dry ingredients, but I am wondering if wet ingredients will at some point leak into the machine. This is probably the best fit available for an older Osterizer.
