This Blink gen 4 casing fits perfectly and is a great extra layer of protection from rain and cold weather. The mount does protrude out more compared to the Blink original mount, but it also gives more viewing angles to work with. You do have to install it in an ideal position because the swivel doesn't let you rotate the camera 360 degrees.The sync module casing is horrible though, it interferes with a secure plug in to the outlet. The plug connection therefore is loose and that is a huge fire hazard. I cut that piece of plastic off using a utility knife so the obstruction is gone.

These Outdoor Blink mounts have been the perfect addition to my home security system.They came with everything needed for installation, and setting them up was incredibly easy—it literally took seconds to drill them in and get them mounted. The protective case around the camera is well-built plastic—sturdy and durable despite being lightweight. It doesn’t interfere with night vision or cause glare, and it does a great job protecting the camera from harsh weather. I’ve had these mounted outside in -30°F temperatures, pouring rain, and heavy snow, and they’ve kept my cameras stable through it all.I use these on both the Blink Outdoor 3 and 4, and they fit both perfectly. The cameras sit securely inside the housing without any gaps or looseness.The only issue I’ve run into is the adjustment mechanism. The plastic used for tilting or rotating the mount feels flimsy and not very secure. Whenever I need to adjust the angle or change the batteries, I worry that it won’t stay tightened or that it might break. That being said, I haven’t had any actual issues with it yet—so only time will tell.Despite being plastic, these mounts have held up wonderfully, and I plan on ordering more.Pros:- Super easy and quick to install- Comes with all necessary mounting hardware- Sturdy and durable protective case- Fits both Blink Outdoor 3 and 4 perfectly- Doesn’t interfere with night vision or cause glare- Protects cameras from rain, snow, and extreme temperatures- Great value for the priceCons:- Adjustment mechanism feels flimsy and not very secure- Plastic construction may not hold up long-term in high-use areas

I have both 3rd and 4th generation Blink cameras. These mounts will work with both. The instructions for installing the camera into the mount are on the outside of the box and also online. Until I actually put the camera into the mounting box, I was concerned about how secure the camera would be with just the thin cover preventing it from falling out. The cover holds it in just fine. The box part of the mount is a quality plastic. The shiny black plastic bracket doesn’t appear to be as good a quality as the original bracket that comes with the camera. Tightening a screw a little too much might crack it. Screws and anchors are included. The mount does give a wider choice of viewing area which is why I ordered them. Adjusting the camera to the angle I wanted and tightening it down took a little practice.

This was a good product however it broke while trying to mount it and now it can’t be used. It’s metal so it should not have broke. I’m a bit disappointed because it’s a great product overall and but now I have a camera that I can not install until I get a replacement. Hopefully the sellers reply to send a replacement and I would gladly update my review to 5 stars for exceptional customer service.

I just bought an additional blink camera for my house and needed a better mount than comes with them. I chose this one and it has met all of my expectations. It's a perfect fit for the 4th gen camera and installation was an absolute breeze. No tools are needed to get the camera in and out of the mount, and the mount itself simply screws onto any surface. Adjusting camera angle is simple, and once locked in, the camera stays where it's pointed. The mount for the sync module is also great. It provides cord management and allows the module to discretely plug into any outlet. (I suggest plugging it in behind furniture so as to be out of sight of mischievous eyes.) If you have a blink system, or are considering one, I would definitely recommend these mounts as an upgrade to the ones that come with the system.

I was a little worried that this wasn’t going to fit my outdoor gen 3 Blink camera, but it did.It does take a bit of firm pressing on the camera to make it seat properly, but once in the cover fits fine over it.

What I failed to take into consideration though (and this is my fault), is that the additional plastic that the camera now sits in, does cut down on my WiFi signal.

Now this might not be a problem for some of you, but I’ve really pushed the limits of distance spacing and this additional cover kind of messes with that. LOL….I also like the idea of having the sync module 2 outlet mount, but since I’ve already come up with a creative mounting option I’m not going to change it over now.

If however I had of known that this was available when I first got my Blink cameras, then I’d be all over it.Mounting of the camera is much quicker and easier with this, than the silly mounting option currently on the gen 3 Blink cameras.

Good camera so far only had it for 3 weeks and it withstands cold weather-30 battery life still good
