To provide users with the best vision possible and help them better focus on their task, Blue Eagle faceshields have passed the highest levels of optical tests (Class 1).
(2) High-speed particle impact resistance at extremes of temperatures
The faceshield is made using extrusion-grade polycarbonate, allowing it to withstand the impact of a 6 mm steel bead traveling at a speed of 393 ft/s (120 m/s) at extremes of temperatures, -23°F and +122°F(-5°C and +50°C).

Aluminum edge reinforcements can help improve visor strength. A user can also easily bend or adjust the visor to suit usage requirements.

Both sides of the visors are furnished with protective films to ensure protection against damage or scratches during transportation. These films can be easily removed before use.

They don't fit as exactly as they should. I bought them and the rig they're designed for.. twice. ( accidentally melted one). They are nice, but occasionally one or two of the holding "pins?" Turns and let's go. Never caused it to come apart...just mildly annoying. ..... Great visibility and protection!

Thought about purchasing this replacement helmet face shield, but over and over read the "may not be compatible with other helmet brands, not universal fit" which discouraged me from making the purchase. Finally I decided to give it a try, and thankfully it does fit perfectly on my different branded helmet. Not the "Blue Eagle" visor.Too bad they are attacking themselves. I just purchased a second set of three pieces.

Ya habÃa usado estas "caretas" con mi casco de protección personal y son resistentes, vale la pena usarlas. En lo particular las uso cuando corto pasto y me ha protegido de varios impactos de piedrecillas a gran velocidad, también las uso cuando trabajo con la esmeriladora o la cortadora manual y realmente protegen la cara de las chispas qué se genera al contacto con el metal. Cuando se me "rayen" las volveré a comprar.
