This harness is a life changer for both my dog and me. All of the other harnesses we have tried have caused her serious injury. We have an enormous collection of expensive harnesses. I don't know why it took me so long to find this one, which solved three serious issues.1) She was often limping because of a harness digging into her neck/shoulder area. Once she lunged at a dog that charged up to her threateningly, and for two days she could not stand to eat, had to lie down at her dish, because the harness dug into the flesh in front of her shoulder.2) The the chafing behind her front legs caused a rash on and off, hair loss, and lately caused hot spots.3) The belly strap can be adjusted so that the girth strap does not rub the nipples. My dog was a nursing mom before I adopted her from a shelter. Her nipples were infected and are still significantly enlarged. I can get the harness to go exactly between the nipples so that there is no rubbing. We got the harness the day after ordering. Right after the delivery, we went out for a proper hike with her new Blue-9 and it was absolute heaven. She was free to move and was comfortable, not to mention gorgeous. No chafing, no injury. We are back on the trails! There was a problem with fitting the neck strap, so I contacted the mfg. They responded very quickly with general help and an offer to troubleshoot via email and photos. So, not just an automated response, but a true offer of help.I love that the strap is softer and more flexible than typical nylon webbing, though apparently just as durable. The clasps are heavy duty. Overall, very much worth the cost.

I have a 12 pound Miniature Dachshund and I have tried several harnesses for her little body. This Perfect Fit Harness, with the several places to adjust it, works exceptionally well for her. I bought the XSmall and it is a perfect fit. I bought the reflective gray which looks great on her black and tan body. It is very well made and will hold up many years. I know this fact because I have a small size that my Sheltie used for many years before she passed away at age 14. I was almost able to use it on my Miniature Dachshund on the smallest adjustments but it was slightly too big because my Sheltie weighed about 25 pounds. This harness is worth the money and I highly recommend it for your dog

This is a wonderful product and wry adjustable. However it is a chew risk. Mine unfortunately ate it when it was accidentally left on.

I have always like the harnesses from Blue-9 because they are designed in a way that allows freedom of movement for my dog but has features that help train/keep the dog from pulling when walking on a leash. The harness has several points of adjustment for a nice, personalized fit for each dog preventing rubbing and/or irritation of the skin. I have Brittanys that weigh around 34 lbs. and they wear a size small. The reflective aspect of this harness is great as it allows us to walk early in the mornings or after sunset. Considering sunrise is at 7ish am and I start work at 6:30, I am able to take my dogs out for a nice walk without compromising their safety. I also recommend the matching reflective leash.

Pro- reflective stitching though I didn’t not test it out. Soft straps.Cons- ill- fitting , slides side to side and I have not been able to make it work. When dog sits/lays down/bends down to sniff, the strap around the ribs feel very tight eventhough it’s been adjusted to fit (with allowance) while she is just standing. Any looser and the sliding from side to side worsens. Also the actual harness is thinner than the pictures item. It’s thinner than the standard harness (with no reflective stitching)I don’t love the freedom harness because of the martingale design, and the restriction round shoulders but the quality is way better and the velvet strap is so much more comfortable

With 6 adjustment points the fit is perfect! The freedom of movement with this Y shaped harness is the best!! Highly recommended.

My pup hates wearing anything more than a collar, but we needed a harness due to a medical condition. We tried several, but it was hard to get a good fit because of her deep chest (similar to a Doberman). When she feels restricted, she will just stand in place. This harness, however, she’s more mobile in. It’s super adjustable so I can get a snug fit without it digging into her “armpits.†It’s also lightweight that she doesn’t seem to mind it as much. She’d still prefer to be fully liberated, but that’s just her.

I have a mini schnauzer that measured for a 'small' according to their guidelines. Its way too big and flops around even when adjusted as small as it goes.It essentially does not work.Being its expensive for what it is, and it doesn't fit as advertised, I would not recommend it.
