I'm using this system to monitor a trailer/RV to keep an eye on the pipes and furnace in subzero temperatures, and prevent mold. I think anyone with a mobile application, mold, or EMF concerns should consider this product. For me it works best simply as a local Bluetooth monitoring system, with graphing and historical data ability.Be careful when you open your order--they're just tiny things wrapped in twisted bubble wrap, without any logos, boxes, or flyers to differentiate the sensors from package filler.Pros:-Outside of weather station systems like Lacrosse, this is the only wireless sensor I've found which offers a dew point calculation. Knowing the dew point is essential if you're concerned about high humidity, and particular mold growth. Relative humidity fluctuates with temperature and can be very misleading if read alone.-My sensors didn't require calibration, and were within a degree or percentage point from each other straight from the package.-You can customize your broadcast strength, interval and recording interval through the app to impact battery life, frequency strength, and how much data you want. You can also put them in airplane mode where they record but don't broadcast.-Graphing in the app is very intuitive and allows you to see dew point and temperature data overlayed on top of each other, which shows you at a glance when condensation occurs-The sensors transmit via Bluetooth so you don't have to have internet or wifi to monitor them, just a mobile phone or other device with Bluetooth and their app.-It was easy to setup assuming you download the correct app Tempo Utility (which I didn't at first-I was trying to use a different Blue Maestro app)-Support is pretty responsive if you call during U.K. Business hoursCons:-I've yet to figure out how to get the app to show me anything more than the number of times a custom alert event has happened. I can't see the alert event data or get real time notifications, though I think I should. I've got a support request in on this at the moment.-Remote monitoring (out of Bluetooth range) requires a wifi gateway (currently only sold through their website) and obviously wifi, and a cloud account-The cloud monitoring system doesn't have much documentation and is a bit buggy.

These are great devices. I have five of them around my RV, plus a backup: one each in both refrigerators, one over the dinette, one in the bedroom, and one outside. I have had temperature and humidity issues with my refrigerators. I want to know the temp and humidity in the RV interior. I want to know the same for outside so when we go running we know what to dress for. The batteries last for a long time. I have been using these since 2022.

My husband is using this device to monitor the humidity levels in the case where he keeps his favorite guitar. This device is straightforward and high quality. It helps him to know exactly the right time when he needs to add water to the humidifier so that the humidity does not drop below a certain level which helps to prevent the guitar from drying out and cracking.Since the value of the guitar is over $3000 it’s easy to justify the investment in buying this device. The app is very user friendly. I am not tech savvy and still found every aspect about this product simple yet cutting edge. The people who invented this definitely know what they are doing. Keep up the good work.

So far so good on my TEMPO disc. The temperatures are in range with a battery operated device I have so it appears to be functioning fine. I use the IOS application and for me it was okay to setup once it was reading the device. So far I haven't had any problems checking the temperature. I am so excited about the functionality, I am going to purchase the tempo disc product that is waterproof. I wanted to be able to get inside and outside temperatures quickly (putting it on outside window frame). I feel that this solution will do that for me. Unfortunately, they do not sell the waterproof version on Amazon.com. I wish they did! You can find it on their website.I have some tips for people purchasing it. It doesn't really say in the documentation, but in regards to the IOS portion of the setup, there is no bluetooth pairing required. I spent some time thinking I had to go into the IOS bluetooth setup and pair it first. For me there was NO pairing. Once you turned it one, by looking at the blinking lights, it just worked. I though it wasn't working and I was going to have to return it. I just needed to make sure there were two flashing lights that would blink to notify you that it was on, install the IOS app and then launch it and you can see the temperatures ,humidity, etc......I have some tips for the company. The documents that I got with the item, no where did it inform you the process for turning on or off the device and what the flashing lights mean. Perhaps I didn't read the fine print somewhere? Anyways, I just visited the online support area and found all the documents I needed.

Works when it feels like it. If you are more than 15 feet from transmitter it will not respond. Contacted manufacture and their only advise was new software was being developed to remedy the problems. Could not find any new software that trust to download off the Internet. Suspect this is a total scam so my recommendation is to not waste your money on this worthless product.

Update to my earlier review:I've now had the sensor for over a year and recently had to replace the battery. The screws are so small that my smallest Phillips screwdriver didn't quite fit. In the process of trying I stripped the heads and ended up damaging the disc's back cover.I contacted Blue Maestro's customer support and Kirstin sent me new screws and a new back, all free of charge!I now have the correct size screwdriver (Phillips #00) and managed to change the battery no problem with the supplied new back and screws. Great service!Original review:I wanted a temperature gauge which could log the temperature to my smartphone for when I'm camping or hiking. I got my Tempo Disc a couple of months ago now and it's a great little gadget. It's really quite small and weighs next to nothing. I've calibrated it against a couple of other thermometers and it seems to be quite accurate. To get a correct reading the temperature sensor can't be kept on the person. This means the sensor has to be robust and weather resistant enough to be hung from a backpack, as shown, or live in one of the side pockets. The Tempo disc appears to meet all the requirements. Especially with the little gel case shown in the photos, which is sold separately on the company BlueMaestro's own site. (It's a shame they don't sell it as a bundle option on Amazon.) On the company's site they also have a key hanger version of the sensor but that includes a pressure sensor and since my phone already has one of those I did not need that. The staff at BlueMaestro were very helpful and friendly when I ordered the little gel case.I've now had the sensor with me on quite a number of outings and it works really well. The readings appear on the app on the phone with no problem and the app also gives you a high and low for the last 24 hours which is nice. You have to make sure it is out of direct sunlight so I mostly have it one of the mesh side pockets of the pack. This ensures plenty of air flow and accurate readings. So far it has withstood a couple of very wet days without any issues. It isn't sold as waterproof but it seems to be able to withstand very humid conditions, 85.1% according to its own reading, without any problem. The temperature logs can be downloaded from the sensor into a spreadsheet and so I now have accurate temperature charts to go with the other data from our hikes and treks. Combined with photos, maps, and notes they make for a very useful record of what things were like.Lastly, the way it is all packaged deserves a mention. The sensor itself is very well protected in a metal case. There's a full paper manual and download instructions for the app. I also love the fact that they give away Haribo sweets with it.

I've had my 2 Temp Discs 2 months, and 1 month - and they're both recording without problems. They're tiny little things (the size of a 50p piece), and very light as well - they didn't come with any fixing frame but being so light I was able to use some wood glue I had to hold them in place on the two walls where they currently stay. Each Tempo Disc comes in a small metal container, and is activated by clicking the blue top cover. They're NOT waterproof but they can be used outside, as long as they are protected from any rain, or icing frost.Once activated I was able to use the Android application (screenshots below) to set the Tempo's recording interval, name, transmission power level, and current date.Be warned! Set the date BEFORE you want to start taking readings, if you don't then the Tempo will make readings with a "Reading number" and not a date. After a couple of days I set the date and was a little surprised to see the data my phone had already stored had been cleared away. It's a little "gotchya", but one easily avoided when you now about it.This device has MANY configurable settings - much more than the other leading temperature sensors on Amazon. To see them all, please look at Photo F.They have a little LED indicator that can be triggered by the phone app to ensure the sensor you're setting in the application is the one you're looking at.If the signal power is low when you're trying to sync the data with your phone, the app is helpful, and will tell you that - so you can move a bit closer to the sensor. The temperature and humidity sensor are accurate - both Tempo Discs I have read very similar when next to each other, as well as to a different model I already had in place.I regularly download the data from my phone to my PC to enable me to log it with an Excel spreadsheet I use."Tempo Disc Myths"I'm including this bit after reading some VERY misleading information made by other reviewers, which were not accurate.>>"The x-axis shows date and time on the iOS app, but only data points on the Android app . As an Android user this is something that needs to be corrected ASAP."This feature is now in the Android version - please see Photo D, on the right hand column.>>" it doesn't seem to come with any instructions so it took a little time to get used to how it works"While true, there ARE instructions online. I don't think we can post website addresses, but it's on the item page.>>" Even when there is a change of the reading, it does not update the app"If this was an application issue, and not one of the phones - it has been corrected in the Android software. When you open the app - all the Tempo Discs in range are available to view their current readings - you do NOT need to sync the stored data to se e the current temperature and humidity values.I've bought a second Temp Disc because I've found the first so useful in having configurable sensor readings and logging readings. The device is also very competitively priced compared to other systems on the market. They're still going strong after 2 months, and so far I've had no problems.

I have only been using the sensor for a phew days but so far i am very impressed. Setup was very easy through their app, which seems well built and intuitive to use and gives you easy access to settings on the device. Downloading data and viewing it is also very easy through the app and is presented in a fairly clean and readable manner.I also contacted the seller to ask a phew question's and received a very prompter's response (within an hour), and found them friendly and helpful.I wan't to test this for a longer duration but if i keeps preforming as it currently is i will be picking up a couple more of these.Edit: While the sensor itself seems very good i feel it is let down a little by the app, the app work and show you the live data and downloaded data fine but what slightly annoys me is that every time you download data from the sensor it creates a new log and you can't merge logs together to see data over a longer period. It would be great if you could download data into an existing log so that on one page you can see data over a much longer period and only have one log per sensor. The reason i think this is important is that if you record at a high log rate of once a minute the device can only store about 4.5 days of data so the max data i can see on one log is the previous 4.5 days, you also can't rename the logs so its trial and error to work out which log shows the data you see.

For what it does - it does very well. I initially purchased one as an experiment to use this little button to keep an ongoing record of the bee-hive internal temperature. For winter - I will get more and distribute to more hives. Over the past summer - it has worked well. The bees have done their thing of sticking it down to frames and blocking-up the sensor holes - but by-and-large the button has continued to work and record. I cannot specifically comment on accuracy - but as something that can show trends and changes - it does what it should. It would have been perfect if the button was a little thinner as it is just slightly bigger than one bee-space. So requires a bit more room above the frames. The app works - it is nothing fancy - but allows emailing CVS files to allow analysis via excel or something similar. I will but purchasing more to monitor other bee-hives over winter.

I brought 2 of these at the same time as have a new outdoor cabin so wanted to see what the temp is inside and outside concurrently. I put the outside logger in a reliably waterproof birdbox so it has not had any water touch it at all. They were easy to set up, pair and the app is relatively intuitive initially. Ive had them up and running (ish) for a couple of months now and down tend to write reviews but these things have been really quite disappointing. There are 2 BIG problems, first seems to be how quick they get through batteries. Ive been using Duracell CR2032 batteries (not B&Q bargain bucket rubbish) and they don't seem to last longer than a 2-3 weeks. You can set the interval time in between readings, I have set this to every 10mins which I don't feel is unreasonable and the batteries don't last long at all. Also, in the app it shows that the battery is always either 100, 99, or 98% charged but will then just suddenly stop working (wont pair up to the app, or d the yellow flashing lights when you take the battery out and out back in again).I have tested this with my multimeter and the CR2032s have a start voltage of 3.3v and stop powering the logger when they reach 2.25v. This drop in 10.5v seems to occur after only 1000 logs which is really not that many if your going every 10 mins. This has been the case for BOTH loggers, so is not a sample size of one. Also, the app is not reliable in managing to download the logs from the loggers. What I mean is, when you go into the app on your phone/tablet, it quickly (when they have charge) pop up in the devices screen as being paired via Bluetooth to your phone. But, when you then go to download the logs it tries then comes up with a "download error" notification. Im not sure yet f this have anything to do with the batteries not holding enough charge to do it, but it it is incredible annoying. Its not the case either that i have been trying to download every hour either, I have been trying every 3-4days ago.Its a shame as the app is ok, and I've not really seen many other devices at the same price point which I can put inside and outside that achieve the same goal. At work we use AAA power non Bluetooth loggers which last years on 1.5v, so its a shame the Bluetooth element here seems to be its downfall.
