Returning but not at the fault of this company or maker of adapter. We were told to get this so we could hook up wireless speakers to our TV. Turns out we can only use wireless speakers made by the same manufacturer as the TV.

I got this to use my bluetooth earphones on airplane flights.====MAKE SURE YOU PAIR AHEAD OF TIME if you are planning on using this for travel. Once you pair, it's easy to get your earphones to reconnect, but since there are no screens or menus to use between a headphone and the bluetooth dongle, it may take a bit of trial and error before you get it working.====I picked this one up because it was compact. It has no internal battery to need to charge. I figured there would be a USB charger port available along with the 1/8" audio port on typical flights these days. The audio jack and the USB were in close proximity on the United flight, so everything plugged in, and the supplied audio cable was long enough. This one starts streaming right away, as opposed to some I've seen that have a lag between start of audio to when you can hear it.The dongle advertises AptX on the amazon listing (they refer to it in several places) AptX is a proprietary Qualcomm spec, and I don't think they licensed it out to other chip vendors. This bluetooth dongle uses a bluetooth chip from Zhuhai Jieli Technology corp, so I doubt the AptX compatibility. (It may or may not work, but I have no way of verifying that bit)If you are looking for a low cost, no frills, basic transmitter with low latency, this does a decent job.

I got this device I am thinking about 1-2 years too late. I bought it for a trip I was taking that would involve international travel and watching inflight entertainment. I prefer my AirPods so this is supposed to enable me to use my AirPods while I watch the above entertainment. However, the United Airlines airplane that I flew on didn’t have a USB port anywhere related to the inflight entertainment because its a newer model and does everything via Bluetooth. It worked quite well with my phone and didn’t require this device. Then the moderately upgraded Delta Airlines plane I flew on also worked via Bluetooth with my phone and didn’t require the use of this device. So I didn’t need this device. Like I said earlier, I think this was something that would have been awesome to have 1-2 years ago but now I don’t think it’s needed. Technology moves so fast these days. I am still giving it 4 stars because it appears to be well made and most likely functions as described but its just not something that I found was necessary to use.

If you have something like a TV that does not transmit bluetooth this will transmit your sound to anything that can receive bluetooth like headphones or bluetooth speakers. In my case I have it plugged into a portable projector so I can transmit sound to a bluetooth speaker. Instead of the terrible tiny projector speaker now I can place the bluetooth speaker by the screen and have fantastic sound coming from the front instead of the projector. Recommend.

This bluetooth transmitter is a good idea in theory - it's tiny and doesn't have its own battery - instead, you plug it into a USB port and then the cable into a 3.5mm port and it should work. However, it's very cheaply made, and I couldn't get it to pair consistently with my Airpods Pro 2. The audio port was flaky as well, so I had to adjust the audio cable where it goes into the transmitter repeatedly to get it to sometimes send audio to both left and right channels. Also, some airplanes have two and three-port audio plugs, and that adapter is not included with your purchase. I wouldn't bother with this device - there are much better options.

After spending countless hours wrestling with tangled wires that seemed to have a life of their own, stumbling across this Bluetooth V5.2 Transmitter was like discovering a portal to modernity. Yes, it does exactly what it promises—no lightning bolts or hidden treasure maps here—but boy, does it streamline my audio experience. I managed to pair it with not one, but two devices, and I didn’t even have to arm-wrestle with a manual.

I do not want to give a negative review for something I could not use. My first assumption was a blue tooth connector would connect to any blue tooth device, which I think was an error on my part. The intention was to have the TV connect to my husband's BT hearing aids. After numerous attempts, we could not get them connected. The instruction manual included was fairly clear on how to use this product. There is also a support number given if you cannot get your device to connect. That being said, after looking the packaging over more closely, I think this product is for headphones/headsets and speakers rather than what we were looking for.It is nicely packaged, has clear instructions, and support options are given. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this if my application was for the stated purpose.
