I bought these for powering my lighted Christmas decorations on and off at various times. These mechanical timers work better for me than the digital ones, as they do not require confusing instruction booklets to operate, rather their operation is intuitive.

Looks & works exactly as it should and is as advertised. At 1st it might LOOK to some like it is cheap plastic, but if it is, I can't tell & it works so no problem. It has (2) 3-prong outlets, if plugged into the bottom wall outlet it doesn't block the top one, timer function works perfectly (and if not, "MAYBE" it was not exactly right when you set it current time, because THAT is the hardest thing to get right) & the timer itself can only be set in 30 minute increments but that is fine for us.I absolutely love that you can bypass the timer easily any time you want/need to by using the slide button on the right side. We used the timer function so Christmas tree lights would and did come on from evening to 8 am but from Christmas Eve thru Christmas Day & New Years Eve thru New Year's Day we keep them on straight through, so NOT having to set & reset the timer was absolutely great ! Obviously will save us a lot on the electric bill, too !The only thing I would change would be to angle one of the outlets to orient the dangle of the cord straight DOWN for those of us who use the wall hugger cords because the cord hits the wall & keeps it from fitting properly in one of the two sides.

I would have given it 5 stars but it does not allow you to manually turn light off before the time set like my other timer did

I had been unplugging and plugging in Christmas lights over the last few years, whenever I wanted them on or off. Never got around to just buying one of these, oh boy I’m glad I did. So worth it, no more manually turning off & on. Just set the current time, set when you want it on or off. And your set. Works like a charm.I got mine set up to turn on @ 9am & turn off @ 1am. Each tab you push down is increments of 30 mins. Can be used for really any lights. Buy this asap!!

Works great easy to install easy to set up, works great for what I need it for, got one set up for the Christmas tree to turn on at a certain time and off, and I have indoor plants I have one set up for them for the lighting and fans great product delivery was fast as well
