I've had this running for several months prior to writing this review. It is very easy to setup and does exactly what it says it will do. The dials are analog and fairly course which is acceptable for most applications. However, if you want real precision ( like exactly 25 seconds on and exactly 100 seconds off ) it won't deliver. After a little fiddling, I ignored the scale on the dial and used my watch to time the cycles to make adjustments.What I described above is "accuracy". However, that's probably less important than repeatability. The good news is, once set the unit is highly repeatable ( it will repeat the set cycle with minimal deviation ). The other positive is if you lose power, the unit powers back on and restarts the cycling without any additional efforts.The only possible negative for some, are the dials don't lock down. This means if you bump the dials at some point you may inadvertently change the timing. This isn't a problem for me since it's plugged into a wall outlet, but it may be a problem for some if plugged into a power strip on the floor where a foot or pet can move it.Overall I'm very pleased and would buy another if needed.

I use these to time my return pumps. This allows me to run my emitters constantly without worry of the reservoir running dry or the return buckets over flowing. Turn the supply pump on and watch the return buckets fill up. Set the on and off timers to 15 minutes on the repeater. When the return buckets reach the desired level, plug the unit with the return pumps plugged into it, into an outlet. The unit starts with the on timer. When the level in the return buckets is just above the pumps lowest pick up level turn the on timer down slowly until it shuts the pumps off. Now watch the return buckets until the desired level is reached, then turn the off timer down until the pumps start. Check all the levels over the duration of the next few cycles and adjust as needed for the desired levels. It's that easy. The unit makes a click when it turns on and off. Other than that, it makes no noise. I have 2 of these products. I did get a bad one and Amazon replaced it within a few days. I do recommend these.

I use this to operate a fan on my cold smoker to keep the sawdust smoldering. I Use it 20 seconds on and 60 second off. This timer allows me to let the smoker run unattended - I always had to baby-sit the thing to keep the sawdust smoking.

I have had this timer on a 5 second ON and 5 minute OFF cycle for two years and it just kees working like new. Five stars!If I could make a couple of improvements for my application it would be 1) add a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection with an app to change on/off cycle times or turn off/on, and 2) remove manual switches for time off/on settings and make it digital. Then make it with a water-resistant housing.

I used this timer for running intermittently a large balloon sculpture for a competition, it powered on/off a motor for movement. It worked very well, very easy to use, can unplug it and not lose any settings. I will buy more of these, I recommend this product.

Bought for timed mist propagation, it works very good , the simple dial controls makes it very easy to adjust and the day/night mode works as well, although switching between day/ night operation is a little tricky. After using it for a whole summer I am happy to say I am pleased

I am using the timer to run a heat trace system on a water line in winter. It works fine once you get it set up, but the mode switch from normal to day/night to 24 hr is horrible. You need to plug it in, and roll the dials to maximum within 5 seconds or something like that. Took about 3 tries before it actually worked.I've only had it going for about 2 weeks, so no information on durability.

Cet appareil est beaucoup mieux que la version électronique parce que celle ci perd sa programmation lors d’une panne. Ce qui n’est pas le cas de la version manuelle. J’ai essayé de trouver un appareil semblable dans ma région et personne ne connaissait ce type d’appareil. Je vais vous dire quel usage je fais avec ma minuterie. J’utilise un câble chauffant pour empêcher mon tuyau d’alimentation d’eau de geler. L’eau à l’intérieur du tuyau devient trop chaude. Cette minuterie me permet de le faire chauffer pendant 10 minutes et 5 minutes à l’arrêt.En plus elle supporte 15 ampères. Génial
