These filter paint, but paint is wet, thick fairly heavy, these in their own didn’t work as I had thought, especially with the silicon style soft collapsible funnel (yes the collapsible in that sentence should have pre warned me. 🙈Take 2 with the canning funnel (a canning funnel has a bigger opening than the one you use to put oil in your car so for me it worked better). I used these and the plastic liners for the sprayer and it all worked well and seamlessly. The canning funnel allowed this to do its job and I didn’t make a mess.

I used it to get the paint to a better consistency. my client left a $90 can of exterior paint outside. It was so bad. It gunned up my brush to the point where I couldn’t use the paint. I ordered these filter AND WOW! I AM HAPPY I DID. I would highly recommend these filters to anyone trying to save paint that just might have a second life or just need to filter out some particulates in existing paint. The blue filter housing is easy to clean and collapses for easy storage. Quality product for the money. It is definitely a five star. I would definitely buy these again.

For paint it works fine, but your 'pour rate' is pretty slow given the small size of the funnel, so I wouldn't recommend it for filtering a gallon of latex paint.

First off let me say that these are good quality and I love the funnel for my spray gun. That being said the holes in the filters are so small that it would take about a year for a gallon of paint to pass through. And I don't have that much time. Maybe for a sealer it would be ok or some other thin liquid but for paint it is absolutely unbearable and serves me no good whatsoever. So I don't use the filters but love the funnel. The filters do work well but the time it takes for paint to pass through even when hot out is just ridiculous. Save yourself the hassle. Throw the filters in the trash. Good funnel.

Painting airbrushes can be a little finicky ... particularly if you try to force chunks of stuff suspended in your paint through them. These paint strainers make sure the ONLY thing that goes through my airbrush is paint. Worth every penny.

The funnel is ok and will be useful in the future. The paper strainers are useless. They fall apart almost immediately, dessolving a few seconds after they come in touch with the paint. Stay away
