I bought 2 BOBLOV cameras, in January of 2023. I worked in private security and needed a dash camera and a body camera as I drove a roving patrol in an industrial/residential park. The body camera is only used when I make contact with a person so there is no confusion about what is said when I file my Daily Activity Reports. I don't always need to turn the video in, but when there is an issue I can locate the short clips I need to show my employer. The camera will make video clips and will give you the option to set time limits on how long each clip is. I use the 5-minute setting because it is easier to find the segment you need and quickly email it with a report. I work with the body camera in the off position until I think Im going to need a video, then I turn it on to the stand-by position so it is ready when I talk to someone or need to record an incident. The camera takes the best photos no matter what the lighting conditions are. If there is no light the camera goes into infrared mode and takes very clean and clear black-and-white photos and video. My body camera has worked flawlessly for over 2 years now and I use it 5 to 7 days a week. The dash camera when set to dash mode will turn off and on, when starting the truck it turns on and when stopping the truck it turns off. A lighter socket operates the camera, so if you have a lighter socket that turns the power off and on with the switch you will get the same response I do. If you want the camera on all the time, you will need to use a normally on supply, for instance, my truck has two lighter sockets, one is always on and the other turns off and on the turning of the ignition key. My dash camera developed a clarity problem and I contacted support. They said it was repairable and asked me to send it back. Custom support said they would just send me a new one seeing as I was using it nightly. Before I even returned to the old one, the new one arrived within a few days.  I can't say how many times these 2 cameras have come in handy and saved my bacon by capturing important interactions, from fleeing automobiles to getting tag numbers to recording rude and unruly personal contacts. I give the cameras 5 stars for flawless service and super photos. They take both video and single photos, which can be snapped even while recording video. I give the camera mounts 5 stars as well. The body camera magnetic mount is so strong it is hard to remove it from my vest sometimes. The windshield mount works well, I leave it mounted for weeks at a time only removing it to clean the windshield and the suction cup. Keeping the cup clean is very important to ensure a good mounting to the windshield. I can't give customer service enough stars, they were courteous and easy to work with and I spoke to a person and not an AI system to solve my problem.  I strongly recommend these cameras and products if recording is important to your job.

The Boblov is easy to use comes preset with dates and times. Until time changes that is lol. But all in all the video, picture, and sound, is amazing. I recommend fully. I use it for my hunting trips to record all the action or in action depending on the day. Sure I will have many other uses for it too. More than likely will use dash cam mode when not recording outdoor adventures. Thank for a Great product. Very affordable. Better than GOPro by far and the battery last for a good amount of time. Almost 15 hours of record time.

UPDATED 2-22-25 Finally found a set of directions that were easy to see and understand. Much happier with this unit. Primarily for use as a dash cam for 4 wheeling. Used a combination of the original mounts and go pro to gat it to mount. Had to upgrade to a 4 star because it does what it says, its just the instructions are such tiny print.no LOV for this BOB LOV unit.Con: Finding the controls to be very sensitive turns on and off just moving the unit. I wanted to set it up so it could also be used as a removable dash cam, advertisement says it can be used as this, I am finding great difficulty using the dash cam setting. Get about 30 seconds before it auto shuts off, even though it says when in dash cam mode it auto starts - no go- need to manually start. Would like to see the instructions online so the print could be enlarged to a reasonable reading point.PRO: The unit is solid, has decent quality video, multiple ways to install come in the box. Instructions a little lacking but can be worked with. Would like to see the instructions online so the print could be enlarged to a reasonable reading point. As with any new unit it takes a little getting used to where the buttons are so you don't accidentally shut it off. Nice BodyCam/DashCam Long battery life 12-15 hrs as advertised. 256 gb more than enough record timeand it has Loop Record 👍

This Boblov M5 128GB bodycam is great. Its video files are easy to access, save & delete through the camera screen or by plugging the camera into the USB port on your computer. I like the wide angle lens, the front button/record, the video screen it has & motion activation. The mounts are solid. But you should buy the Boblov 4 magnet body camera mount to stabilize it more if its mounted to your shirt. The problem with any body camera mounted to your shirt is when you lean forward your shirt & camera lean also. So you need an elastic strap under your shirt wrapped around your chest to put half of the magnetic mount. Then mount the camera, It won't move away from your body. The infrared is awesome, it can see in pitch black dark. You may have to hold down the infrared button for it to activate. It does not have a white balance/brightness option, but has a decent built-in flashlight good for about 7ft in front of you. I like that it has internal batteries not external ones, meaning you just plug the included charger into the camera to charge. Another good feature is the internal memory, you don't need an external s/d card. And to clarify the 5min, 10min, etc, recording option, it stays recording, it just splits the videos into 10minute vids, but it does not stop recording until you press the stop button. It does this to have smaller files to delete or transfer instead of one large video file. So on the 10min option for a 30min video, you'd have 3 10 minute video files. The M5 is a ready to go body camera.

I've experimented with this bodycam when jogging around / riding a bike through a forest & this bodycam has held on well with its magnetic mount I purchased for this product.Battery life has been satisfactory to my needs.I'm still trying to get a hang of taking long range photos, but it's a great feature I appreciate.It's got good durability, I intentionally dropped it by accident to demonstrate how sturdy it can be from a tall drop. It was just a minor scuff, nothing to worry about.The IR lights included are good enough for the outdoor surroundings in my local area, I also purchased an infrared flashlight for times I may want to get a clear long range image on the bodycam.The waterproofing has withstood the rough weathers of rain & snow in the valley.
