I had put off buying these, but I have managed to get a dent on both sides of my Jeep from the side mirrors swinging into the Jeep when I remove the retention strap. Obviously, a lot of people have experienced the same thing as it is a big motivating factor to buying these covers.These are a lot different than I expected. I thought they would be cheap, soft rubber adhesive stick-ons, but they aren't. These are formed, hard plastic and molded to the exact shape. They are thick and beefy. Each one is shaped for the specific side it goes on and they are pretty self explanatory to install. The 3M adhesive goes around the entire outer edge of the plastic and seems to hold well. I think it is just enough to hold well without being a huge pain to remove if you needed to in the future. Bottom line is that I would buy them again. They look great, better than I expected, and they are easy to install. This is a solid purchase even if you don't have dents to cover. I was excited to get the Sunluway® 2015 Latest Durable Black Cowl Body Armor - Pair For Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sahara Jk & Unlimited 2007-2015 (Latest Upgrade Version) by Sunluway for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler JK. Tape wasn't thick enough to adhere to jeep body, it was in the recessed areas so the tape stuck to nothing. They look great, just need to buy some thicker tape and remove the thin tape. We got our own 3M tape and put extra in the middle of the cowl body part and now we know that it is secure and won't be falling off while driving down the highway or on the back road/off trail. This item did make the Jeep look really good and diamond tread design fits perfect with all the other on the Jeep Wrangler JK. All in all i was very impressed with this item. I received this product for a discount rate in exchange for my honest review. This however has not influenced my opinion. Item arrived quick and nothing missing or damaged. I really like the way they look and they are a hard plastic with the 3m on the back for attaching.You just have to 1st line them up there is a top and bottom to these by shape. You will be able to tell, then just line them up each one on each side remove the backing and all done. Be careful when you are aligned with it because they do stick. I love them so far it really enhanced my baby (jeep). The price is good and seller . I've included the before and after pics. So you might get an idea of what they will look like on the jeep. I would say you can't go wrong..

Easy to install and should hold up. I painted mine gloss black and clear coated to match closer to the factory paint, looks fantastic

There is one for the right and the other for the left side of your Jeep. Make sure you get that part correct. Once on, they will be very hard to remove. Be careful when you lay them down, because you don't want them crooked on there. Very easy to do right, just as easy to do wrong if you're careless. I had no issues, but I saw a Jeep in the parking lot - had them on the wrong sides. Looked bad. I would buy again.
