Unbelievable for the low cost of $30 at the time I ordered. The instructions are clear, they even explain all different stitches in detail. For a beginner there will be a lot of rewinding and rewatching. It’s always better for beginners to be guided by a real person. But if you are determined you do have good chances of making something cute. The kit includes stitch by stitch booklets too, just in case you don’t have internet.There is plenty of yarn, hooks, needles and even a mini practice kit.I can’t wait to see all the creations soon.

I think these are a great value. I’ve paid this amount (or near) for just one single crochet kit - let alone one with 6 animals. They aren’t huge but they are a decent size (not tiny either - and some of these type of kits are). $25 for 6 of them is a great value!

This crochet kit is a fantastic introduction to crafting and includes everything needed to make six adorable animals. My son, who’s new to crocheting, dove right in and appreciated the clear, step-by-step video tutorials. Each video runs about 30 minutes, with a slow and deliberate pace. However, for beginners, it’s likely you’ll spend at least a (sometimes frustrating) hour or more per animal—but that’s part of the learning process...I'm not sure if this should be marketed to beginners, but perhaps 'very enthusiastic and patient beginners' or 'intermediate crochet level' or something similar. As although the pacing of the videos is nice, the steps are surprisingly complex, especially for beginners, but pausing and rewinding the videos helps.

I have knitted for years. Thought I would try something new. The yard is cheap and frays easily. The videos are hard to understand and go too fast. Disappointed.

This kit and the cute creatures that can be made are adorable. The yarns and novelties are all provided to make the six characters shown, and my current challenge is this: the hook to crochet with is so small that a first timer is unable to consistently catch the stitch. We used the practice yarn for her to get going, but my beginner (ten years old) became frustrated after struggling for an hour. I had to wait to purchase a larger crochet hook so she can practice more before making one of these. I would say this is an advanced beginner to intermediate project set. I've been crocheting for years, so the hook wasn't an issue for me, but there's no way a beginner can master the process when it's so hard to catch the yarn for each stitch. We didn't get to the video to start making these, as the microscopic hook stymied us. We aren't giving up, and I will update this review once we've mastered enough skill to use the small hook.

This kit is great for beginners. It starts off with a good description of the various stitches you need to know and lets you make an animal using those stitches. You can then progress to more complicated animals step by step. Easy to follow instructions, practice yarn to master stitches and all the tools you need to make several animals. Great for older kids and adults. A good kit that I highly recommend.

Great for gifting to kids or adults. An easy intro to crocheting. Great for adhd as the projects can be completed quickly without having to revisit it on multiple days so it wont escape the mind once set away

This is a perfect kit for beginners to crochet. It comes with all the supplies necessary for success. The animals are absolutely adorable. The instructions come with a QR code that links to videos that can help better explain the instructions. I found it to be extremely useful.
