This was the easiest plumbing install I've ever done! I'm no expert, just a very handy handyman type homeowner. I originally purchased a sillcock from a big box store and would have had to sweat it on the water pipe. I just knew there had to be an easier way and this is it! I've been using shark bite type plumbing connectors for over 15 years and everyone of them is still holding so I expect the same dependable service from this sill cock.

Outside spigot was extremely old and leaking. It was too rusted to even take apart to fix.I needed a PTC since I don't weld and the old one needed me to cut the copper pipe to remove it. I took my time, measured carefully and was able to install this new sillcock in it's place with very little difficulty. I specifically picked this over some of the others I saw because I only had a 1 inch hole in the concrete wall and I didn't want to run into an issue with the connection being too big and needing me to widen the hole.

I gave four star because it is little bit stiff and hard for a child to turn it on and off.Other than that, it is a nice product.

I goofed and left the hose attached and my through wall faucet froze and cracked the through wall pipe. This is what I purchased as a replacement.This hose bib gave absolutely no indication that it seriously limits flow through the valve. Use this for a garden hose and all you will get is a wimpy dribble stream. To wash the car I have to hook three hoses together and run it to the back yard instead of using the newly installed connection in the front of the house.I in no way recommend this product.
