This would be a Great Wall safe for the price and size. However, every single fingerprint unlocks unlocks the fingerprint scanner. Friends, family, kids, etc. defeats the entire purpose of having it.Edit: Changing review to one star after trying to deal with customer service, they will only respond through some separate email address and even then they don’t help at allRe-Edit: sellers finally reached out and replaced the item free of charge. The new one works perfect. Hopefully if you get one it is correct the first time

This gun safe does not fit in a normal 2x4 framed wall. In a normal wall it is almost an inch deeper than a standard stud which is 3.5 inches, unless someone is using six inch deep studs or 1 inch think drywall it would be impossible to install without protruding 2.5 inches into your room, making concealment nearly impossible in addition it would leave a gap behind the lip of the safe which would make it easy to put a pry bar behind it and quickly remove the whole safe from the wall.I will be returning the item, as the web description is not accurate as noted above, for example it states:"ã€HIDDEN GUN SAFE】 Intergreat In wall gun safe between studs is a secret. Can fit in any room such as foyer, living room, home office, bedroom or even bathroom. This is a secret only you know. I had to make room in the wall to get this to fit. After doing so, I find out the lock doesn't even work properly. I attempted to set 1 fingerprint, but any print works to unlock the cabinet now. I attempted a factory reset, but that doesn't work with. DO NOT BUY THIS
