Very happy with this book stand! Our family has decided to donate our great-grandmother's holy bible to our local heritage museum. This bible will be presented in a glass case for protection and preservation. I needed to find a sturdy book stand that would hold a large bible that is open for display. We received this book stand in only a few days after ordering, and it will fit in nicely for the display. Thank you!

The overall look is nice but the stand would not assemble as it should. I am guessing that there must be a flaw in one of the cuts of one of the boards. For I tried it for several minutes and I could only get the two pieces halfway together.To be sure that I was not doing something wrong in the assembly process. I tested another book stand of the same design that I have in a mahogany finish and that assembled with no problem.Nevertheless, flaw or not, I still like the concept and even though the book stand was not able to fully be locked into place. I am thankful that the wood stand was strong enough to be able to use it to display a large size art book.

Bought this to display a cocktail book in a cocktail cabinet. It has a wuality feel and nice size for many sized books. Not only is a nice esthetic but is it functional as well

Wood quality was unimpressive, assembly was like working on a 3D puzzle- directions or even pictures would have helped. It is sturdy, but small for the coffee table book.

A nice Bible or large book display stand--or to hold a massive Le Morte D'arthur open while you're actually reading a book that weighs more than a gallon of milk. It's austere, plain maybe with no sheen or gloss to the wood, but that adds a straight-forward elegance to it. It's definitely sturdy. Recommended without reservation.
